“So, you were just having me play along in this charade?” Emrys asked, feeling somewhat exasperated. 

This man is quite the schemer, huhr, he wanted me to be the sect leader, and then he wanted to select an acting sect leader. But in the end, it was all just an act. 

Ruben said, “I wouldn’t go so far as to call it a charade. In truth, I genuinely hope for Sword King Sect to be restored to its former glory. However, based on Caden’s and Devon’s behavior just now, I fear that such a prospect is all but impossible.”

“So, you’re saying her daughter is quite attractive then?” 

Peter chimed in eagerly, “Of course. Don’t tell me you haven’t heard of Sylvia Morris, Tigger? She’s a renowned beauty and a genius in martial arts technique and martial arts skills. Anyone who marries her would be blessed with good fortune for generations to 

come.” 

Ruben glared at his son fiercely.
