Chapter 825 You Have Misunderstood 

The night was as dark as ink. 

Emrys and Ninette were ushered into a room by Ameera. 

The luminosity of the lighting stone was dimmed to its lowest brightness, casting a warm, inviting glow throughout the room. Thanks to Ameera’s thoughtful arrangement, the space exuded an ambiance full of romance. One glance was enough to tell that Ameera was a woman of experience. 

However, Emrys seemed somewhat at a loss. 

Though Emrys usually enjoyed teasing his sisters, he had no experience with that sort of thing. The last time he did it with Karina, he was so dazed and confused that it hardly counted as experience. 

Therefore, when he saw Ninette, alluring and radiant, sitting on the edge of the bed, Emrys was suddenly at a loss for what to do next. He stood there, dumbstruck, for quite some time. 

“Ah, you’re such a fool!” Ninette glanced at Emrys coyly and let out a soft sigh.. 

She could only suppress the anxiety welling up inside her as she took the initiative to approach Emrys. 

She was truly left with no alternative. After all, they couldn’t possibly remain at an impasse. forever. 

Since Emrys wasn’t going to make a move, Ninette figured she had to take the initiative. 

Ninette strained her memory, recalling the study materials she had once perused. With a graceful stride, she approached Emrys. The subtle, delicate fragrance of a virgin wafted. around her.

Ameera felt quite guilty toward her eldest daughter, Sylvia. 

Originally, it was Ameera who had suggested that Sylvia should befriend Emrys, hoping that they could form a relationship, and Sylvia did just as Ameera suggested. 

Ameera could tell that Sylvia had developed feelings for Emrys. Ameera was certain that if Emrys gave his approval, Sylvia wouldn’t hesitate to marry him. 

Regrettably, Ninette showed up. 

Ameera didn’t feel much about it, as both were her daughters. However, for Sylvia, the outcome seemed somewhat cruel. 

Hence, Ameera figured it was only normal for Sylvia to feel aggrieved. 

Just as Ameera was about to offer some words of comfort to Sylvia, she heard Sylvia say. “No, Mom. You’ve misunderstood me. What I wanted to tell you was about some things that happened with Emrys at the Thundercloud Marsh this afternoon.” 

“Thundercloud Marsh?” Ameera was surprised. “What happened at the Thundercloud Marsh? Didn’t Emrys and Cameron just have a competition?” 

In the afternoon, Ameera had asked Ninette if not even a single bolt of lightning had struck Emrys. At that time, Ninette had replied to her that all the bystanders were left utterly astounded.
