When Sylvia approached Ameera to mediate, Ameera declined, choosing not to take on 

that role. 

Ameera’s unfeeling words were a test for Emrys. 

She wanted to see how audacious he was, as he had boldly interfered in Rodney’s affairs, starting with an insulting remark comparing him to a barking dog. 

Ameera thought to herself, If he truly has the capability, he wouldn’t need my persuasion. If he has the audacity to be so arrogant without any real power, then he brought this upon himself. His downfall won’t be a tragedy, and he doesn’t deserve my intervention. 

At that moment, Rodney remained suspended in mid–air, his flying sword beneath his feet, emitting a faint hum. 

The sword hungered for Emrys‘ blood, its thirst growing insatiable. 

This sword, a magical item forged by Rodney, mirrored his emotions vividly- and right now, it seethed with anger and a desire to kill.

It seemed that the Crimson Sun Sect had become complacent lately. 

Rodney’s eyes glinted dangerously as his anger turned into scornful laughter. “The elders of the Crimson Sun Sect have become timid, yet you, an insignificant creature who crawled out from who knows where, dare to make yourself known. Are you so eager to meet your end?” 

Rodney had wanted to set an example to put the Crimson Sun Sect in its place, and he hadn’t expected a bald–headed man to step up. However, it aligned perfectly with his intentions. 

Emrys shook his head and replied, “If you hope for my demise, you, a worthless creature like yourself, are hardly qualified. On the contrary, it is you who should be concerned. If you wish to avoid death, kneel down and apologize immediately.” 

This exchange left everyone stunned, their mouths twitching in disbelief. 

Rodney, a cultivator in the middle–phase of the Golden Elixir Stage, being called a “good–for- nothing“? It seems this guy has lost his mind.

“Die!” Rodney decided to skip further idle chatter, realizing that talking to Emrys was a waste of his time and an insult to his dignity. 

He acted swiftly and decisively, unleashing a thunderous roar that summoned a colossal golden palm from the void. With effortless grace, it tore Emrys‘ body to shreds, ending his life instantly. 

This outcome had been expected from the beginning. 

Hollie couldn’t help but comment. “Poor baldy, it seems your virtues only grew on your face, while your brain remained undernourished. What a pity.” 

In straightforward terms, Emrys had been utterly foolish. 

Hollie didn’t feel particularly heartbroken–her initial attraction had been superficial, drawn solely to Emrys‘ handsome face. 

In the mundane world, living off of a pretty face might have been possible, but in Mount Kushburn, having looks without intelligence was unacceptable. 

Meanwhile, Sylvia let out a soft sigh. It was now clear that her earlier plea on Emrys‘ behalf had been motivated solely by guilt, without any other emotions. 

She had initially thought that expulsion from the sect was too severe a punishment. 

However, upon deeper reflection, she realized that Emrys had brought this upon himself with his initial disrespect towards her. 

If he had come across a less forgiving woman, she could have ended his life right then and 

there.
