After uttering those words, she playfully walked over and knocked on the door.

Cordelia opened the door slightly, only to find Ninette standing there. She quickly pulled Ninette inside and slammed the door shut, leaving Emrys outside. 

And so, there were now three of them. 

The three individuals spent some time in the room. Cordelia reiterated to Ninette what she had previously told Caylic.

Caylie came to sit next to Emrys and said. “Emrys, I’ve made up my mind. I will join the Crimson Sun Sect. Let’s go to Mount Kushburn!” 

Emrys looked deeply into Cordelia’s eyes, realizing that she must have mentally prepared Caylie for this decision. He nodded and replied, “I will accompany you on this journey.”

This meant that Jerome, the former fugitive, now held more power than Endre.

Endre dared not object.
