Enraged to his core, Bernard let out a long roar. His murderous intent surged like a torrential flood, rolling and churning, heading straight for Emrys. 

With a cold laugh, Teagan said, “Mr. Bernard is indeed formidable! This brat has been constantly spouting reckless words, showing no respect for anyone. He should have been dead long ago. Mr. Bernard is simply ridding the people of a menace!”

Teagan was busily flattering Bernard when suddenly, he furrowed his brows, feeling as if his body had become unusually light. 

As he looked down, he discovered that his feet had already left the ground, his body eerily suspended in mid–air. 

Upon seeing this, Teagan was immediately taken aback and turned pale. 

How is this happening? Originally, Bernard had intended to strike down Emrys on the spot. However, upon hearing Teagan’s cry of alarm, he glanced his way and was immediately taken aback. 

The others present in the room also turned their attention toward Teagan one after another.

Suddenly, Teagan’s body convulsed violently. His legs kicked wildly in the air for a moment. In less than two breaths‘ time, his neck twisted abruptly, and he was gone. 

Bang! 

The body of Teagan fell heavily, stirring up a cloud of dust.
