Caught Between Two Kings
Chapter 11

As soon as I walked in everybody started whispering while staring at me,

"Oh my gosh she is so beautiful "

"I have never seen a woman so ethereal"

"She has to be a goddess, no way she is human"

"Oh my, she's far more beautiful than princess Elena"

"Princess who?"

I couldn't stop smiling when I heard all the whispers it was quite funny, but I was already accustomed to such reactions and comments from people especially from my formal kingdom.

I looked towards princess Elena and saw the look of shock, anger and jealousy on her face, it looks like she never expected someone like me, she quickly schooled her expression and rather stared blankly at me while her father couldn't seem to close his mouth from gaping open and continued staring at me with a look of awe and admiration.

When I got to where princess Elena was standing she looked at me with a haughty and superior look and introduced herself,

"I am princess Elena Alexander Detrux, crown princess to Notombra and you are?"

She said with disrespect like I was beneath her while she had a nasty smirk on her face. I kept my cool and replied,

"I am lady firebird soon to become queen of Themesdera, bride to king Ezra and Roman and the most beautiful woman in all the kingdom, I would say it's a pleasure to meet you but we both know that would be a lie".

I looked at her from head to toe and asked,

"I'm sorry who did you say you are again? cause I'm pretty sure I've never heard of you."

Everyone gasped looking shocked including Elena, I don't thing she was used to people not bowing at her feet, before she could say anything else I dismissed her and kept walking without giving her a backward glance, I approached king Alex and gave a slight bow before saying,

"It's an honor to finally meet you king of Notombra, I've heard so many good things about you."

"And it's a pleasure to finally meet the bride to king Roman and Ezra. I must admit after meeting you I can see why they chose you as there bride".

"Thank you" I said and walked towards Roman and Ezra and gave each of them a light kiss, I turned to Elena who was sitting down on the only available seat between them, I walked towards her and said

"Your in my seat"

"Excuse me" she looked up at me shocked.

I looked straight into her eyes and replied,

"It is common sense to know that the bride would seat next to her husbands to be, but since it seems you lack common sense and manners I will be so kind as to remind you to get your ass off my seat and place yourself somewhere else"

The room went silent and everyone was looking at me shocked, Elena looked shocked,angry and embarrassed, she looked like she was about to say something but one look from her father and she quietly stood and went to the end of the large table where she sat down and continued glaring at me, I ignored her and turned towards our guest,

"Why is the room so quiet, we have a meeting don't we and now that I'm finally here the meeting may commence"

And with that I sat down in between Roman and Ezra and smiled at everyone. Roman and Ezra chuckled, while king Alex looked impressed

"Any woman who can hold her own with such grace and elegance deserves to be queen, well done kings of thermesdera."

Elena looked beyond mad now and it pleased me without measure, I turned towards her while I replied to king Alex,

"Why thank you your majesty, with a woman like me how could they possibly look at another"

Elena looked like she wanted to strangle me and that just made me smile.
