Chapter 6

Alexia's POV

"Alpha?" A voice yelled.

"What is it?" Landon huffed.

He looked to me as if he was lost in space...

"Guess I have to let you go for now."

While letting go of my wrists and taking a few steps back.

"You're not going to leave this room, change your shirt cuz if you don't, we will continue what we were doing and try not to escape; You won't like the consequences" he darkly said as he smirked at the last part.

"Fu-" he interrupted me.

"Tsk tsk tsk don't cuss little kitty."

I growled at him, "Or what."

His eyes darkened. He was just about to approach me but, luck's on my side.

"ALPHA!"

He growled at the voice

"COMING! Don't try pissing me off kitten, you don't want to get on my bad side."

With that he left the bedroom, locking the door...again...

"Let's see what you'll do buddy."

With that, I started looking for a way out.

"Lexi are you sure that's the right thing?" Cara said.

"Yes..." I only said; that was enough for her not to ask about it again...

After a few minutes, the only safe escape I could find was the window...Yup, I'll have to jump from a window.

Call me crazy but I'll do anything to escape and have my freedom back.

Unfortunately, the window was locked so I had to pick the lock-up. Yeah believe it or not I can pick up locks...I'm a pro at it.

As the sound clicked, it announced that it's unlocked.

Since the window was now opened, I put my bag on my back and started sliding down from the window and the four-level building.

Lucky me, I safely and somewhat quietly landed this was all I did before I took off sprinting through the woods...

A couple of hours later, I found myself inside a small room in a motel.

It was quite cheap and I will only stay for tonight by the rise of the dawn, I'll leave.

I hope that Landon would never find me...

Landon's POV

"Then I'll go there now! Oliver, come with me."

It had been a couple of hours since my mate's disappearance.

I'm the greatest moron in history to leave a wild kitten without a supervisor; after I left her to deal with some rogues, she easily escaped but how... I locked both the door and the window so how did she escape...

Our Gamma and both best warrior and tracker, Lowell was able to find her whereabouts...outside the pack territory...

I'll find her and when I do, she'll have to face the consequences for her attitude and actions...

I hurriedly got out of the car when Oliver told me that we arrived... it was a small motel.

"Hello! How may I help you?" I lady in her mid-forties said.

"Yes, I'd like to ask you about a girl, she's a teenager, 5'7 feet, Ruby fusion hair colour with emerald green eyes and pale skin..."

"Oh! You're talking about...what's her name again...Lexi?"

She said in a slightly French accent.

"Yes, do you know where she is??"

"why yes, she booked one of the rooms on the third floor. Would like me to call her room and tell her that a guest is coming?"

"NO!" The lady was slightly taken back by my response.

"I mean no...I'm her boyfriend, I want to surprise her..."

I half lied and it seems that she believed it; she told me okay and lead me to the stairs and gave me directions to her room...

I thanked her and went to the room. Her smell was there so that lady wasn't lying...

I had Lowell pick the lock because I'm certain that she'll make a mess to escape if we knock...

When Lowell successfully picked the lock, I opened the door but I found no trace of my mate...

"Check the bathroom and the balcony!" I ordered

Oliver and Lowell while I checked the bedroom...

As soon as I entered the bedroom, her smell invaded my nostrils, making me stay still for a few seconds enjoying the pleasant feeling of her smell; I wasn't able to catch my mate closing the apartment door from the outside quietly and locking it...and from the sounds outside, she's sprinting...escaping...

"NO!" I growled catching both Oliver and Lowell's attention in the process.

"SHE ESCAPED!"

"Calm down Landon, she's not going to go far away...you go to the woods through the balcony with Lowell while I do the d-"

I didn't wait for Oliver to finish his sentence nor wait for Lowell and jumped from the balcony to the woods and tracking her smell...she's done it...and she's going to regret it...

Alexia's POV

I can't believe it! He found me!

Not long after I went to sleep, I woke up...something was wrong was all Cara said...so I started taking a quick shower and just before I opened the door, I heard some footsteps outside the room...and it hit me...his smell...

I quickly hid behind the sofa which was the closest to the door and had my backpack with me and room keys...

As soon as they entered and were fairly far enough from the door, I quietly retreated outside the room and locked it from the outside; sprinting to the front desk and threw the keys to the kind, french lady and bid goodbye while running to the forest...

It hadn't been a few minutes before I heard a spine-chilling howl; making me run faster than ever...

I a few seconds later I was tackled to the ground and an unbearable weight was caging me on the ground making me unable to move or do anything...tingles were irritatingly giving me pleasurable feelings...of course, it was my jackass mate...

"You are in deep trouble little kitty..." his dark glowing eyes were a prove for his words...

"LET ME GO WHY CAN'T YOU JUST UNDERSTAND THAT I DON'T WANT TO BE WITH YOU!" I arrogantly yelled.

A deep growl vibrated in his chest and his eyes were almost black, his fangs elongated and he was going for my neck...

"NO, LET ME GO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS! NO!" I kept screaming and thrashing and for my luck, a man I don't recognise came and stood there...

Landon looked at him and he probably was mind linking him because as soon as Landon's fangs retracted and his eyes were returning to their honey ones yet they were still dark, that man took a few steps before he took out a syringe...

He squatted next to us...the syringe was becoming closer and closer to my neck.

I started screaming and thrashing again but Landon's strong arms were restricting my movements; making it impossible for me to escape...

"The less you move the less it'll be painful for you..." the mysterious man said while the liquid in the syringe was getting emptied...

"No...you can't do this...this-" I couldn't even finish my sentence before feeling my head becoming light...

"Shush mate, that's the best for you..." Landon said while his weight was lifted off me, slightly muscled arms, most probably Landon's lifted me off the ground bridal style.

I wasn't able to make out his words as I was barely conscious; the effect of the sedate was finally fully affecting me...

"You should've let me go...why is the moon goddess doing that to me...I barely escaped him, so why you are you just like him..." with that, I slipped into the darkness...

HELLO PEOPLE, this chapter isn't very long and I won't be able to post due to my final exams which started today and next Wednesday (rip me) anyways, so if I have free time I'll write but until then wish me luck XD M.D.M❤️
