Chapter 21

I woke up to someone pulling me closer. I opened my eyes to see Tyler asleep, his hair in his eyes, and his mouth, gracing a small smile.

I turned around in bed and looked at my side table to see pills and a water bottle. Mom.

I moved Tyler’s arm slowly and he opened his eyes.

“Sorry. I didn’t-”

“It’s okay Mia. I was already awake. What are you doing?” He asked wrapping his arm around me and pulling me back towards him.

“Taking my pills” I smirked and he quickly sat up.

“Yes” he laid over me, and took the pills and the water bottle from the table and sat up properly.

“I bought them yesterday, but you were asleep, so I just left them” he opened the bottle.

“You bought them?” I asked, a small smile gracing my lips.

“Yeah. And I’m going to make sure you take them everyday” he handed me to the two pills.

I put them in my mouth and swallowed them down with water. Taking another gulp of water, I noticed Tyler staring at me.

“Is drinking water, attractive now?” I smirked closing the bottle.

“Yeah” he groaned

“Aww! Is Tyler having a little problem?” I cooed as he pulled the duvet over his lower- half body.

“Mi-”

“Tyler” I cooed pinching his cheeks.

“Mia, don’t. It’s embarrassing!” He groaned

“Who are you embarrassed from? Nobody is in this room except me? Unless you’re em-”

“No! I’m not embarrassed in front of you” he smirked removing the duvet from himself.

“Okay. Good. Now go help yourself, and have a cold shower” I pushed him off the bed.

“How many cold showers is a guy meant to have” he mumbled to himself standing up

“How many do you have? Do you get turned on a lot Tyler?” I smirked and he frowned

“Every time I see you.” He mumbled looking at me.

“Really! You have a really bad problem Tyler! Shall we take you to the hospital?” I smirked and he stuck his tougue out at me.

“Very funny Mia. I’ll be back” he rolled his eyes, walking to the bathroom, and closing the door behind him.

Just then someone knocked on the door and mom popped her head in the room.

“All clear to come in?“she asked looking around

“Mom!” I exclaimed as she walked in.

“Mia, I want you to do something” she sat on the bed

“Yes?”

“Anna, she’s in the cells, and I want you to kill her. If you do it now, then we can stop all of this stupid mess. And we can concentrate on your treatment” she smiled, holding my hand.

“What about Daniel?” I asked

“Didn’t Tyler tell you? Tyler killed him” she told me, just as Tyler walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist.

“Shit” he exclaimed looking at mom

“Oh. I’ll go” mom shrieked running out of the room.

“I think I scared your mom” he muttered

“Of course. Have you seen yourself?” I smirked, trying my best not to look at his 6 pack.

“Please babe! I look stunning!” He dramatically said,while flicking his imaginary long hair backwards.

“Tyler!” I rolled my eyes standing up.

“What! It’s true” he shrugged walking to my closet.

“Your clothes aren’t in there” I said walking towards him

“Are you sure about that Mia? Did you know you that you’re a very heavy sleeper?” He questioned coming out of the closet, dressed in jeans and in a blue top.

“I didn’t think so” I shrugged and he leaned down and pecked my lips.

“Well you do. And I moved everything in yesterday” he smirked standing up straight.

“And you never asked”

“What’s there to ask about? You love me, I love you. Who knows we might even get married?” He winked

“In your dreams” I rolled my eyes and he wrapped his arms around me.

“I better start dreaming then” I shook my head

“Tyler? Do you know why Ace doesn’t come now?” I asked confused and he groaned

“Nope” He looked away.

“Tyler...”

“I told him to leave you alone, and that you don’t need protecting because I’m here” he mumbled and I rolled my eyes

“No buts. I don’t like it when he’s there. You smile at him to much” he mumbled laying his head on my shoulder.

“Really Tyler?” I questioned

“Yeah. I didn’t like that guy. He could have popped up anytime. What if you were changing!” He growled looking at me.

“Please” I put my hand up and walked away from him, and sat down on the bed.

“What happened to Amber? Did you talk to her?” I asked and he nodded wearing a black blazer.

“Yeah. I told her to leave and she did. She’s gone back to England” he muttered and I nodded

“That quick?”

“Yeah. She knew that I would never be with her, so she went back. She liked it in England so she’s gone back”

“What about her mate?” I looked up at him

“He rejected her, when she found him” I nodded

“Where are you going?” I asked

“Work. I need to go for a meeting. I’ll see you at night” he walked towards and pulling me up.

“Okay bye” I walked around him. He grabbed my hand and turned me around so I was facing him.

“I want a kiss first” he smirked

“Oh really?”

“Yes” he muttered and crashed his lips on mine. He pulled me closer to him, and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

“I have to go” he mumbled on my lips and I nodded

“Okay” he didn’t let me go.

“I love you Mia” he closed his eyes

“I love you too Tyler” I whispered as he let me go.

“I’m going to work. Bye” he kissed my cheek and walked out of the room.

“When you’re treatment is done, I will let you become the queen. Now I am looking after it, but when you’re ready, we’ll swap” she smirked

“Really mom? Swap?” I rolled my eyes

“Dad, you’re a really bad influence on mom” I shook my head as dad wrapped an arm around mom.

“Well she’s right. You have to ‘swap’. Emily is going to chill, and you’re going to work”

“Chill? Don’t embarrass me, please. You guys are old now, you shouldn’t be using the words chill” dad scoffed.

“We look nothing like your parents okay! Everyone thinks Emily is your sister” dad stuck his tougue out at me.

“Leave her alone Alec. She’s upset”

“Why though?” Dad asked looked at mom.

“Because, Tyler isn’t here”

“Mom! Ugh. You guys are so stupid!” I exclaimed and mom laughed

“Did someone miss me?” I heard Tyler’s voice.

I stood up and ran out of the living room to see Tyler taking his blazer off.

“Tyler!” I shouted running towards him and hugged him tightly.

“I think I was missed” he mumbled wrapping his arms around me.

“Don’t leave me here. I want to go to your office instead” I whispered wrapping my arms around his neck, tightly.

“Okay” he whispered back not letting me go.

“Look how cute they are Alec” I heard mom whisper

“Cute? No they’re not. Tyler, let her go now. Enough with the hugging now” Tyler pulled me closer and kissed my neck before letting me go.

“I’m taking Mia out” he said to my parents behind me.

“But it’s late.”

“At least let me get changed” I protested

“You look beautiful” he smiled.

“I can’t wait till they get married” mom gushed and I quickly pulled Tyler out of the house.

“So where are we going?” I asked as he opened the car door for me.

“Somewhere” he smirked closing the door, and running to his seat.

“It’s 10 o’clock, so some places, might be closed” I hinted hoping he would tell me where we were going.

“I won’t tell you Mia. Here, wear this” he handed me a blindfold.

“Really?” He nodded and I wore the blindfold, as I heard the car start.

We stayed quiet for about 10 minutes before I heard Tyler park the car.

“Wait” he said getting out of the car, and opening the door for me.

He held my hand and helped me out of the car.

“Are we on the beach?” I asked hearing water splash.

He didn’t reply, instead helped me walk further until we stopped.

He took the blindfold off, and I opened my eyes to see a couple of chairs on the beach, with a big tent type of thing on top. There was a table with containers on top.

“Tyler..” I whispered shocked

“Do you like it?” He mumbled holding my hand and walking towards the chairs.

“A lot. I love it. But how did you do all of this?” I asked looking at him

“I didn’t go to work. I wanted to do something special for you” he smiled as we sat down on the chairs.

“Aww” I pinched his cheeks.

“Mia!” He exclaimed pushing my hands away.

“Tyler!” I mimicked him and he chuckled

“Have you eaten? I know it’s late bu-”

“I’ll still eat” I smirked and he nodded and handed me container.

“I know you like rice and chicken, so I made you some. And I also got you Chinese” he smirked as I squeaked

“I love you!” I shouted as he handed me another box.

“I love you too Mia” he smirked

“Why did you do all of this?” I asked eating the rice

“Because I wanted to know you even better” I nodded while he started eating his pasta.

“What do you want to know about me?” I asked

“Everything”

" A little specific please?” I raised my eyebrow

“Well everything, you like, dislike, everything” he shrugged

“Well I like, chocolate, all junk food to be honest. I like you” I smiled as he walked towards the table.

“I like you too. More than you can imagine” he winked at me.

“I bought vodka or water? Which one do you want?” He smirked, his eyes shining as if he knew that I would take water.

“Vodka” he chuckled

“Brave girl” he handed me a cup and sat down on his chair.

“I know. I have drunk vodka before” I smirked gulping the drink.

“Okay Mia, easy there” he said as I filled the cup again.

“I won’t get drunk” I mumbled eating.

Ping.

“I got a message!” I exclaim pulling my phone out of my pocket. It was from Summer.

Summer- sent you an image.

I clicked on it and started laughing, after reading the message.

“We should do this Tyler! It would be so cool” I turned to him and he smirked

“What?” He asked

“This” I handed him my phone, and he chuckled

“We can’t do all of them now, but we could try most of them” he stood up

“Let do it then” I stood up, feeling dizzy

“Mia, maybe another time, you’re drunk” he stated and I shook my head

“Please?” I pouted and he leaned down and placed a small kiss on the side of my mouth.

“Let’s do it. So what’s first on the list?” He asked and I handed him my phone.

“Hmmm, we can’t do that now, but we could kiss in the rain” he smirked at me.

“It’s not raining though”

“I’ll make it rain” he mumbled a few words before rain started pouring down. Wizards and their spells

“Let’s go” he pulled me out of the white tent.

As soon as I stepped outside, I was soaked.

Tyler lifted my head up and leaned down, meeting my lips half away.

Tyler kissed softly. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me up. I wrapped my legs and round his waist, while tangling my hands in his hair.

“I ha-”

“You don’t. I don’t want you to” I mumbled on his lips, pulling him closer so there was no space between us.

“You sure?”

“Hmm” I whispered and he crashed his lips on mine.
