Born Almighty Warrior
Chapter 526 Who Will Win

All of the attention flickered to Ricky, shock visible on their faces at what he had said. But the surprise and shock wore off as fast as they came.

Considering the reason behind all of this, they knew that Ricky had to say yes.

They believed that Ricky was a mere nobody from a small and insignificant realm and therefore had no great power behind him.

“Being an ace genius is desirable and admirable. But even he would feel helpless and anxious in the face of powerful enemies if he's got no support from a strong force, * Some warriors thought to themselves and collectively sighed for Ricky's bad luck.

They had also realized that since this decisive battle was proposed by the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce, it must have prepared some advantages for Ray, which would put Ricky in a really far more disadvantageous position.

"I don't think Ricky can survive this fight!" a warrior said to other people standing near him.

"Good. Make sure that you cherish every minute from now on," Ray replied in contempt after hearing Ricky's reply, his eyes flashing dangerously.

"Since you have agreed to such a proposal, we will put an end to the enmity between us once all of this ends, for the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce is fair in its decisions and will never throw its weight around,” Tonino said in a clear and booming voice.

Ricky bowed his head. "I should thank you for your kindness," he replied in a respectful tone, although he didn't believe any word that came out of Tonino's mouth.

Nobody believed that Ricky could ever survive this battle, so they recognized Tonino's words for what it was—a thinly-veiled lie uttered in an attempt to look fair and considerate.

"Ricky, please accept my apology.” The remorseful and sad voice of the Heavenly Ape Demi-spiritual Emperor sounded from afar. Although he wanted to help, it was futile because his power couldn't hold a candle to Tonino's.

"Sir, don't blame yourself for anything. It was my decision to accept the challenge in the first place,” Ricky reassured him, trying to cheer him up.

His light expression soon shifted into a lethal glare when he flicked his eyes to Ray, and he muttered quietly, "You belittle me and think that I'm weak. But you are terribly wrong and I will prove that to you all. Even a weakling can kill a tiger if he gives his all and sets his mind to it."

Boom! In an instant, as if the heavens had collapsed and exploded, powerful forces erupted from both Ricky and Ray, and the impact spread toward every direction.

"Remember, you only have a few seconds left to live. Cherish your life while you still can,” Ray mocked smugly as the power of Gloomy Enlightenment was spreading in all directions.

"My previous enemies have said the same thing to me. Yet here I am, still breathing and talking, while insects feed on their body and their corpses rot under the ground. You should prepare to meet your makers, too, as you'll be joining them in the afterlife quite soon,” Ricky answered with a light smirk.

Ray harrumphed. "They were no match for me. They were losers, like you!" Ray said in fury, the glow of anger dancing beneath his eyes like molten lava.

Boom! Before he could finish his sentence, Ray stomped his feet and crossed the distance between them with lightning speed. One moment, he was out of sight, and the next, he was already in front of Ricky, ready to blow.

Whoop! Reacting quickly, Ricky summoned his strength and power to the maximum level. Four kinds of runic powers erupted and encircled him like protective armor.

Taking advantage of the momentum, Ricky threw a fiery punch in Ray's direction.

Boom! The fists of the two opponents collided with each other, their heat waves hissing and seething mercilessly upon the contact. At the same time, the Ultimate Domains appeared behind them, hitting against each other in full force. The blasts forced them to separate and take careful steps backward.

There was absolutely nothing left on the rock-hard floor of the ring except the ugly marks created by their intense fight.

Then, the audience held their breath as both opponents jumped to the air and exchanged blows again and again and again, each more intense and precise than the last.

Their attacks were probing and tentative, eager to measure and assess the ability of one another. Admittedly, Ricky had no clear map of Ray's true strength. One mistake, and it would be the end of him. He knew he should tread cautiously and plan his attacks well. Meanwhile, despite his arrogant air, Ray was not dumb. If he had learned anything from previous experiences, it was that he should never look down on his enemies, regardless of whether he saw them as strong or weak. He was merely stalling, patiently waiting for the right moment to strike. There was no way he would ever let Ricky walk out of this alive.

Ray knew that Ricky was strong. He had defeated Pearl, who had mastered the Feminine Mutant, which was more than enough to let Ray know that he was no weakling. The man was excellent both in fighting and killing, and he needed to be careful if he wanted to eliminate Ricky.

Boom! More explosions came from the humongous ring. Whenever and wherever the two figures appeared, a cacophony of sounds followed.

Every blow they exchanged was hard and intense, and it was getting harder to figure out which man would come out as the victor.

"It seems to me that Ricky isn't in a bad situation after all,” a warrior commented, deeply immersed in the battle.

"It's too early to tell who's going to win. Let's wait patiently. After their tentative exchange of blows earlier, I'm sure they will use their true power soon. By then, the victor will show himself," another warrior answered with a nod.

Boom! As the chatters among the audience fizzled into a heavy silence, the calculated exchange of blows between Ricky and Ray also ended. Both of them were airborne and stepped back to size each other up.

"Not bad. You aren't as weak as I thought,” Ray acknowledged, his voice devoid of any clear emotions. His hands were trembling from the exertion, having used the power of the Gloomy Enlightenment just now. "I hate to admit it but I'm starting to enjoy this battle.

But remember this. You're going to die in the next couple of seconds, and that is a fate you can't avoid."

"I admit that you might have withheld your strength. But you still have no clue what I am truly made of. You know nothing. Don't make useless threats and just worry about yourself," Ricky replied in defiance, irked at the condescending tone of Ray.

"Is that so?" Ray clicked his tongue mockingly. "Then cut the crap and let me see where that pathetic confidence is coming from." At once, a murderous look invaded his face.

Then, the power of the Gloomy Enlightenment coursed through his body like an electric fire. In a beat, a more solid Ultimate Gloom Domain materialized gradually and steadily in the air.

Standing in the Ultimate Gloom Domain, Ricky sensed the intense tension and the corrosion, and felt his power struggling to keep up.

As a countermeasure, Ricky also showed his own Ultimate Domain, which was more solid.

His Ultimate Domain was produced by the power of the four runes; thus, Ricky called it the Ultimate Domain of Four Runes. When he activated his next zone, he would master the fifth runic power. Boom! The two solid Ultimate Domains collided with a sickening and crushing sound, as though two planets had crashed and exploded against each other.

"You can be an ace genius in hell. Now go to hell and burn,” Ray roared with his momentum filling up to the brim

"Cut the bullshit!" Ricky fired back just as ferociously.

"Gloomy Enlightenment—Ever-changing Skill!" Hearing Ricky's words, Ray turned his rage and killing intention into the most formidable and effective killing skill he had ever mastered.

All at once, the endless gloomy spiritual energy and the Gloomy Enlightenment fused into one. Like a tidal water, it flowed through the whole Ultimate Gloom Domain just as a giant dark shadow materialized behind Ray.

Obviously, Ray had decided to use the spiritual emperor's blood power, which Ricky couldn't resist. "It's time to decide who's the victor and who's the loser. Let's see who's going to live and who's going to die!" Seeing the fighting in the air, the warriors in the audience communicated with each other through their telepathic links. Their undivided attention was solely on the fighters, not wanting to miss anything that could possibly decide the outcome of the battle between the two talented opponents.
