It’s early in the morning I was sipping some green tea to soothe my nerves before the big revelation about to happen later in the day, which making my nerves skyrocketing already, which I am blaming on lack of sleep and that too Ethan didn’t made it easier by all night crying and wanted to be held, perks of being a dad.

My train of thoughts was cut by, Ethan crying again I heaved a sigh and went inside my room to see Ethan already sitting on my bed crying his little lungs out and as sensing my presence he made the gesture to be held by holding his little arms out to me, I obliged and embraced him in me and instantly his cries stopped making me feel relief “hey, buddy its fine daddy is here, huh” I soothed him said sweet nothings in his ear and when he finally settled down I ran the bath for him, Erin and I who was lying awake in my bed for a while. The three of us settled in the bathtub Ethan of course feeling clingy latched to me instantly while Erin was busy splashing the water with his little hands and laughing to the oblivious. I think we spent a good amount of time in the water because I didn’t even hear the front door opening and Logan calling my name and certainly not when he opened the bathroom door which is not even locked.

“ah here are my three precious men” said Logan, startling me and the kids, ok maybe mostly me because I was so further in my thoughts that my other sense fell short. I looked at him wearing just a simple little pink cotton shirt with his dark washed jeans and still looked so incredibly yummy in the morning, not my grumpy and sleep deprived self.

“hi” I replied softly to him now he was sitting at the edge of the bathtub.

“hi yourself” Logan said still smiling “care to explain why you and my little monsters are in here having a pool party which I might add was not invited to” and try to tickle Ethan who was eyeing him without any smile, well it was first.

“Certainly it was not planned and by the way what are you doing here this early?” I asked and caught Erin just in time as he stood up and crashed into me which apparently was quite hilarious for him and scary for me. Ethan made the noise totally not liking his brother’s behavior.

“Well I just wanted to see you and the kids and why Ethan’s so grumpy, he didn’t even smile when I made goofy faces at him” Logan asked curiously and covered Erin in the towel and took him in their room with me trailing behind him with the grumpy Ethan.

“well I honestly don’t know and beside he’s been kept me up all night and refused to sleep unless I hold him, I think it’s just one of those days where he feel more clingy, that’s all” I replied laying Ethan down on the changing table to get him dressed, after few minutes I felt pair of arms snaked around my torso and I was pulled towards the hard chest of my mate.

“Are you alright?” I asked him, still keeping my focus on Ethan who is now fully dressed and laying on the table gazing upon us.

“yeah why wouldn’t I be” Logan replied kissing along my neck making me moan a little our little moment was interrupted by Ethan crying for my attention. Logan tries to take Ethan but, to no avail he was throwing a fit and was only to be held by me.

“Well I think he needs me” I said and took Ethan from his arms and made my way towards my bedroom Logan and Erin trailing behind me.

“Yeah, well I think he needs his mama,” Logan said. Which made me turn and look at him, that he just really called me mama?.

“Are you serious?” I asked now, fully facing him.

“What, it’s just obvious that you are going to be the bottom when we do you know?” He stated that it was not a big deal, sat on the edge of my bed and placed Erin on his lap who placed his head on his chest.

“Unbelievable,” I muttered.

Finally Ethan was out like a light and is with Emma who volunteered to babysit all the kids to give us time on our hand to tell the story of our life to Logan in private of course that’s why we are now huddled up in his office with him and his parents are here too, I know they know bits and pieces but not the full story. I’m the one who is more nervous than usual. It’s not that we have spoken of that person in so long and it feels surreal to even think about that person and how it went our families doom just for her selfish reasons.

With a sigh I sat between my older brothers facing Logan and his parents, who gave their undivided attention to us, “your father might know this our father was born without mate, which is less but it happened to our family and inspite of this lone feeling he felt, he was happy and made everyone happy in his life, as he grew our grandparents knew their something different about both of their children, our uncle and father both had powers and being shifted at the mere age of eight was miracle, our grandparents hid their shift and gave them natural childhood but, as they grew it’s hard not to notice the difference , fast forward our uncle found his mate and gave birth to a boy Carson and soon after they arrange the mating ceremony for our father with the neighboring packs beta’s daughter who happens to be born without mate, her name was Rubina after courting for one year our parents finally mated and whoever came across them said they were so in love” I paused and then continued “fast forward few more years we were born and then twins were happened to be 5 years old and I was just year old when it started to go downhill from there, apparently our mother didn’t wanted kids but, complied with our father wishes, she knew all about our family lineage and that how our father had powers and with the problem sprouting in their married life was not well , not being mates played the factor and after another year she left our father and us serving dad with divorce papers , I don’t even remember her that much me being just two years old” I told them the starting point then Roman picked up from their.

“Apparently on our eight birthday we both too shifted and we both too had powers I have the power of strength and speed while Joshua has power to heal to a great extent and fast forward few more years on Jamie’s fifth birthday he too shifted, pulling our whole family in whirlwind and being concerned of this early shift of his, we all were protective of him especially Carson and our dad , we grew learning all our powers and when we were teens our mother made here appearance once again and not with the good intention of course, but to destroy us she traded her wolf and joined the forces with the rouges and her new boy toy and demand to see us but our dad refused and with the promise of destroying us she left and when she made her appearance she killed everyone , she destroyed our whole pack , even Joshua can’t help them with his healing power, it was so cruel she killed every one dad, Carson, our grandparents , our uncle and aunt and she did not even spare the life of her own parents as much as we can save people we did” Roman when finished , the story there was unsettling feeling lingered in the air whole room was tensed. But after sometime Logan spoke breaking the heavy tension in the air “so now what she want from you guys, and why she left you in first place, why kill when she left you guys in first place”

“she never wanted to marry our father. She fell in love with a human but, her father promised her hand to our father and apparently she served her wolf for that human and joined his army to destroy every wolf pack and, she came back for us our powers she wanted from us. now that she knew that we all three possess the powers with the ability to destroy everything or anything, she want it more especially mine, she wants to destroy our species who made her leave her first love” finished Jamie

“Wow” said Logan “it’s a lot to digest in” and stood up and went to confront Jamie who was now standing near the window gazing at the moon with blank expression, and embraced him from behind and to give them space they all left.

“Hey, how are you feeling?” Logan murmured in Jamie’s ear , Jamie turned into his mate arms and buried is face in the crook of his neck, and murmured back “ relieved to tell you all of this, and thank you for not running down the hill”

“hey” Logan said now holding me on arm length and forced him to face him “nothing can cause me to run from you, you is all I need and our sons of course and even if your crazy mother is after you and our son’s and your brothers too she has to go through me first, I’m your mate and you are mine mister and there is no turning back from now on” and kissed me with all the passion and desire and after sometime when they pulled apart t was me who said it first this time, not dwelling upon my fear to lose him “I love you Alpha”

“I love you too Adam, so much” that he was kissing me again and I wholeheartedly returned his kisses.
