One week

It’s been one week of that dread filled dinner with the family that I came to adore but, with the biggest problem one could or bomb one could face with the utter dilemma that the stud of the Alpha is my mate technically his family is mine if I want that than only which I don’t mind but, is that indirectly after telling him kinda indirectly rejected him and now in my mind I’m indirectly accepting him as my mate, I groaned so loud that even Ethan who is watching those musical characters dance in those funny bunny outfits can’t distract him enough to look in my direction, but two things I came to the conclusion is that :

I said word indirectly so many times,

It’s so messed up in my head that I’m totally out of it.

I rolled out of the couch and stretched out my muscles a little and check out that my living room is kind off in a mess like Ethan’s toys are sprawled all over and some other things are here and there too, easy to say I’m kind of out of my usual self but, in my defense who wouldn’t be after the dread I was forced to felt and those words he said to me and Ethan it’s just messing with me, a lot.

With a long sigh “well buddy its looks like we have some cleaning up to do” with that being said I took Ethan in my arms and laid him down for his nap early than usual, hopping he would corporate with me and let me do some work around the house in peace, raising a kid is tiring sometimes and frustrating too.

“we’ll listen buddy corporate, with daddy a little then we will go out in park or something ok, love you” I kissed his forehead and lingered there a little and much to my surprise he slept without any fuss, taking as a good sign I quickly started to move around the house I cleaned all the mess created in the living room and put are laundry in the machine put are laundry in the machine which was not much but, still has to be done.

After all the cleaning up was done I fixed myself a little sandwich and ate before the little minx was a awake and crying out for attention, little while Ethan was up and as predicted clinging to me like I would disappear, it’s a usual thing with him whenever he wakes up from sleep he likes to be hold by me or sometimes Joshua if he thinks it’s alright only then, he’s kinda clingy baby after his sleep.

I try to sooth down the Ethan as much as I can so, we can go to grocery shopping as I saw we are missing few of things and might as well as buy a new toy for him and Riley, as I dressed Ethan in his jumper and dressed myself with my own, took my all my essentials like phone, wallet and stuff. When we were ready to leave our lovely and now cleaned home someone ringed the house bell, as I neared the front door with Ethan in my hands I smelled Emma so, I rushed to open the door as I opened the door there stood Emma and when she saw me she smiled brightly, I opened the door wide for her to come in “so, why do I owe this pleasure of your lovely presence” and took seat opposite Emma.

“Well I didn’t know better you are the one whose presence being missing from past one week, so what’s up with you” Emma said, which made me slightly uncomfortable, what you can’t possibly think I’m going to spill my gut out like ‘hey, you know the stupid grumpy Alpha was mad because he’s my mate and supposedly thinks that I cheated on him’ yeah right like that’s fantastic first impression…not.

I sigh and said “What you want me to say Emma and please don’t say it was my fault. Because it was not and are you really here to talk me out to go apologies to that grumpy pants, coz frankly speaking all I hear is Roman right now” I feel like it’s my fault that dinner ruined , I know that I might have avoided everyone including the Alpha family, but I have reason to. How can I possibly face them after downright humiliation, I can handle all insult thrown at my way but what I can’t stand is someone disrespecting my family, that’s where you have to face my wrath, and on another note my wolf has given me enough whining how he misses his mate and all that shit.

“I know Jamie that it was not at fault and we all know this trust me when I say this, even Suzie, Summer are very sorry and feel horrible that Alpha Logan can be this blunt but, all in all he is our Alpha and we know we need to stay here before we let them in fully tell them about us, I just want you to be careful about this ok just don’t piss off him anymore, because Roman told me he is not in his very best mood and well he’s being little out of his head” Emma told me I know and completely understand that but, how can I say clear off him well in first place we belonged together, does it even make senses what I’m saying.

“Yeah I know I understand so tell me seriously is that Alpha giving Roman a hard time” I ask seriously because I don’t want my family suffering because of me.

“No” Emma said “well actually I want you to do me a favor and go to the supermarket and grab something for me” with that she handed me a list of things after saying our goodbyes I was off to the supermarket.

After twenty minutes ride I was walking down the aisle and buying some diapers for these monsters and checking on the list what I needed more, well I have bought some vegetables, pasta, fruits, some candies few tooth pastes and other small necessities now is left to buy some cleaning supplies, changing my lane moving towards the cleaning supplies I grab whatever I needed when I was about to go to cash register I was called from behind by none other than Ryan, great now I have to face them and let me tell you that kid is fucking detective if he wants to which I think today probably will.

“Well how can I help you?” I asked, kind of rude I know but, if he gets the message to just back off.

“What no hug or kisses Jamie I’m hurt deeply, so what’s up bro where have you been hiding these past one week?” well it’s a no then.

“Somewhere you can’t find me I guess, well if you excuse me I have to go all get billed for these things’ ′ I tell Ryan who’s watching me closely with all detective mode.

“What, why in hurry, don’t you want to meet Logan he’s with me here” Ryan asks and before I protest and scramble off quickly Logan came striding in our direction with, well isn’t this day getting better and better, he’s the last person I want to see.

I was stunned to see him at least to say he was wearing a grey shirt with dark black jeans , he’s looking good and well I look like a lunatic with a kid and surprisingly Ethan made a sound and outstretched his hand for Logan to carry him up, that little traitor. Logan raised his eyebrow at him and then looked at me and said “What a pleasure to meet you Adam?” the way he said Adam can make hell freeze with so much venom in his voice, I inwardly flinched at this.

With clenched jaw and greeted teeth I replied “pleasure it’s all mine Alpha” I said in a mocking way and saw him flinch at this and a hideous scowl forms on his forehead.

“Well what does this little one want?” Logan asked, glancing towards Ethan who was saying gibberish and beaming up to Logan bouncing up and down.

“Well his name is Ethan and he wants to be picked up, well if you understand what I mean…oops sorry my bad” I know I’m being bitch but, right now my anger getting the best off me and even my wolfs winning cannot be heard who urging me to get closer to our mate .

“Well of course how I will, I’m not the one who cheats on their mate and has a baby with someone else” Logan said back with a smirk on their face.

“Well what can I say I can’t resist the temptation, well if you excuse me I have these things to be billed” with a smile thrown at their way I was out of there in a flash not, before glancing at Logan and seeing him seething in anger and getting lectured by his little brother.

Well it was interesting grocery shopping.
