Danny’s cochlear implants were about to be turned on. William was concerned Danny would be nervous, so he suggested taking Danny out to play and relax. 

Actually, he also wanted to take Vanessa out to play and relax. 

“Are you free?” asked Vanessa. She also wanted to go when she heard William wanted to take Danny out. 

“Yes” William smiled gently. 

It was nothing more than signing fewer contracts. 

Then where are we going to play?” Vanessa’s eyes sparkled. 

She also wanted to accompany Danny to relax. 

Also, it was Jackson’s birthday today. She was not in a good mood on this day every year.

Danny signed and asked Ben, “Aren’t you going to wash them?” 

Ben smiled and signed. “It’s fine. We won’t be sick after eating them”

On Vanessa’s side, William picked all the big strawberries. Some of them were especially bulging and deformed.

“Then let’s go roast the potatoes now. We have enough strawberries, Vanessa said.

William called Ben and asked them to go to roast potatoes together. 

The farmhouse had an open space with tents set up. 

Some people started a fire and brewed coffee in front of the tents. 

William and his party arrived at the tent arranged for them by the farmhouse. 

The fire was already lit, and the coffee was hot. The oranges and the peanuts were roasting on the fire plate… 

Vanessa immediately poured coffee for everyone and peeled an orange for William. 

Then, she picked up a small iron rod and threw a few potatoes into the fire.

She looked at William again.

The staff member helped them put the chicken into the fire. 

Vanessa added firewood to it and dug out the roasted potatoes. 

She was as busy as a bee. 

William glanced at her from time to time with a gentle smile in his eyes. 

Soon, it was dark. 

The meal ordered by William was ready. They moved to the farmhouse. 

They smelled the fragrant food inside as they entered the room. 

The dishes were all farmhouse specialties. 

Farmerhouse’s bacon with asparagus, dried mushrooms, river clams, and many specialty side dishes. 

The staff member helped bring over the chicken Vanessa had roasted and knocked open the mud outside before everyone. Once he opened it, they could smell the fragrance of the chicken. 

Danny was still young and a foodie. His eyes widened when he smelled the fragrance. 

“I’ll reward you with a chicken drumstick later,” signed Ben with a smile. 

The staff member helped tear open the chicken with gloves and put them on a plate. 

William respectively gave two chicken drumsticks to Vanessa and Danny at once.

“William, you eat” Danny signed in sign language as he placed the drumstick into William’s bowl. 

William smiled and gave the chicken drumstick back to Danny. 

Danny was anxious. He signed anxiously and wanted to give William the chicken drumstick back. 

Vanessa smiled and signed. “It’s fine. Danny, you eat it. Your cochlear implants were about to be turned on. Have a chicken. drumstick. I wish you all the best.” 

She picked a chicken drumstick from her bowl and gave it to William. “You eat, too.” 

“Okay” William’s smile widened. 

William picked up his fork and picked up various dishes for Vanessa. “Here, this is a farmer’s chicken fried steak. Its texture is fresh and tender. Try it. These are home–grown asparagus from the hill behind. This is a pumpkin pic……… 

The bowls in front of Vanessa and Danny could no longer hold them.
