"Jo." Dexter's veins bulged as he held her hand, refusing to let go. He then spoke calmly and decisively, "Josie_"

Having driven a considerable distance, the figure of Dexter in the rearview mirror had dwindled to a mere speck.

Morgan then spoke somewhat cautiously, "About what Dexter said just now-"

"I'm tired. I want to sleep for a while," Josie interrupted him and closed her eyes.

Morgan stared at her emotionless face for a while before finally retracting all the words he had intended to say.

Upon reaching her residence, Josie got out of the car directly. She thanked Morgan, who was following her. He said, "If you ever grow tired of everything in Wavery, come with me to Rivodia." Josie remained silent, pressing the elevator button. "You should leave, Morgan."
