Chapter nine

(Alexander POV)

I brought my attention back to my sleeping mate and nuzzled my face into her neck just breathing in her scent. I never want us to leave this bed, but sadly I have things I need to take care of like pack business and planning for the Luna ceremony. Now that we have mated my wolf will not calm until we mark each other. I’ll also want to introduce her to the pack as their future Queen, but I’ll first have to talk to my father about her and he’s not going to like it. My father will be against it only because she is not the right rank in his opinion. I don’t care what he thinks about my moon because I’ll never leave her. I’m not sure how long I laid there looking at my moon.

‘Alex, we’re in the kitchen right now getting things ready and we’ll be able to be out there in about 30 minutes.’

‘Alright Seb, I’ll wake her up right now and get her into the bathroom.’

I looked at her knowing how much I hated having to wake her up, but then we could have some fun together in there.

“Hey, my little moon it’s time for us to be waking up.”

I started kissing her neck as she squirmed in my arms.

“Come on little one. I was hoping we can take a nice bath together before we have to start our day.”

(Aurora POV)

I can feel him kissing my neck, but I really didn’t want to wake up yet. Wait, did he say something about taking a bath. I really could use a nice soak with my body being so sore everywhere. Did he say we?

“Alex, did you say we?”

“Well yeah, the tub can fit up to six people. Ok, it’s not really for bathing and more like a soaking tub. We’ll need to shower off before getting into it.”

I be lying if I said that I didn’t like the idea of being in the tub with him, because I’m really enjoying the thought of what we could do in a tub that big together.

“Alright, let’s give it a try.”

He gives me a squeeze and a quick kiss on the lips.

“Come on my little moon, let’s go and some fun before the day starts.”

He took my hand and led me to the door to the left side of the room that I had a feeling would be the bathroom. There were two sinks and a shower that I can only describe as the ones you would find in a gym’s locker room. Then there was in the back of the bathroom was a large inground tub that I feel might fit more than six people if you really wanted it too. We both went to the shower to clean up fast to get into the tub, but before I knew it Alex was picking me up and carrying me to the tub.

“You know I can walk?”

“Yeah, I know but what fun would that be and having your naked body up against my skin really feels good.”

I just rolled my eyes and giggled as he carries me to the tub. As soon as I got into the warm water my bodies soreness just disappeared. It wasn’t too long as I was enjoying the warmth of the water that I felt two strong arms wrapped around me from behind.

“Come here my beautiful moon. Are you feeling better now? I made sure that I put some herbs into the water to help with any sore muscles.”

“Yes, I do feel better than I did just a little bit ago.”

“Hm, I have an idea in mind now that you’re feeling better.”

“And what do you have in mind for us to do right now?”

He didn’t answer me but when he started kissing my neck and he didn’t have to answer me because I knew what he was thinking. After we decided to clean up again before leaving the bathroom. I looked over to Alex as he was wrapping right hand with a towel to stop the bleeding after he bit his hand.

“Are you going to alright Alex?”

“Don’t worry about it my moon. It’s just my wolf is making it harder for me to control him for not wanting to mark you. I just need to make that ceremony soon so we can both mark each other in front of the pack.”

Before I knew it, my stomach was growling, and I was so hungry.

“Did my little moon work up an appetite?”

I just glared at him as I walked toward the kitchen hoping to at least find something to snack on, but when I got to the kitchen. I noticed some food on the table just waiting for us. It remined of a breakfast that I would see on a Japanese anime. It had a piece of smoked salmon, bowl of rice, bowl of tofu soup, pickled veggies and pieces of egg omelet.

“Alex, what’s this?”

“What do you think it is my moon?”

“But how, and when were you able to do this?”

“Well, I had my chef make it and had Seb bring it out here while we were in the bathroom. I also had Seb and Autumn bring us some fresh clothes.”

“Wait, do they know about us, and do they know we had sex?”

“Sorry but yes.”

Oh god I can feel my face turning a beat red. I then feel Alex arms around me pulling to his chest.

“I’m really sorry my moon but we did need some clothes and I wanted to surprise you with some breakfast. Seb is the only person I can trust in my life and Dani boy as well.”

I guess I can’t really blame him for telling Seb since they both grew up like brothers.

“Please tell me that you forgive me my little moon.”

I stood on my tip toes to be able to wrap my arms around his neck and bury my face into his neck as he does the same for me.

“It’s alright Alex. I do understand why you will tell them about us. Did you tell Raina about us?”

“Well, uh no not really.”

“Good, because I’d like to tell her myself if you don’t mind.”

“Well let’s hurry up and finish our breakfast. We both have a busy day ahead of us.”

He’s right, we both have a long day. He needs to take care of packs business and hopefully start preparing the Luna ceremony. So not only can we finally mark each other but I’ll also have to face the pack as their new Luna, as their new Queen. After we finish up our breakfast and hurry up to get dressed. I was heading toward the door when I was pulled back into a hard chest.

“I’m not sure how I’m going to get through the day without you next to me.”

I just kissed him because I knew I was just thinking the same thing he is saying.

“Well, maybe if we get things that we can sneak of somewhere together and be alone.”

“That’s going to encourage me to get things done as soon as I can.” He gives me I quick kiss as he was leaving the little cottage.” See you soon my little moon.”

I waited for him to leave before leaving it myself. I know I need to get to Raina room before she goes to my room. I wore a white t-shirt, and some stone wash shorts. I just hope I’m not too under dressed for a palace. I hurried up to her room hoping that she would still be sleeping but I found Raina at her door for me.

“Aurora? Where have you been all this time? I went to your room not long after I woke up and you weren’t there. Did you even sleep in your room last night?”

She stopped and started to study my face closely.

“Aurora, there’s something different about you. OMG! Did you and my brother…you know?”

“Wait, did you know about us being mates?”

“Yeah, I did.”

“I’m going to hurt Alex for lying to me about you not knowing. He told me that only Seb, Dani, and Autumn knew about this. I wanted to be the one to say something to you.”

“Please don’t be mad at Alex. I only found it out by accident. He let it slip while I was yelling at him. I pretty much challenge his wolf his rights over you and Hunter didn’t like it at all.”

I looked at Raina as she gave me those puppy dog eyes, and I knew if I stayed angry it be like me kicking a puppy, literally.

“Fine Raina, I’m not angry with Alex.”

Raina eyes just lite up as she slams into me with a hug.

“I’m so happy Aurora. Now we’re always going to be together. I was so afraid that your mate would be in another pack, and you would leave me.”

She looked so sad and lost as she said that.

“Your mate might belong to another pack. He might be an Alpha to another pack.”

I got scared when she didn’t say anything and looked away.

“Are you alright, Raina?”

“Yes Aurora, but we need to get going if we want to get the tour of the palace done before dinner. I know my brother gets grouchy when he must wait for his food. Don’t forget this is your home now as well.”

She’s right, this will be my home now and I no longer need to live with my mother.
