Chapter seven

(Alexander POV)

I was enjoying the sight of Aurora eating her favorite foods. I’m glad I was able to give the royal chief a list that Autumn was able to get for me. I couldn’t help smiling while watching her.

‘Um Alex?’

‘Yes Seb, what is it that you feel the need to bother me during dinner?’

’Well, I wanted you to finally tell Aurora that she is your mate.”

‘Get off my back! Don’t worry, I will talk to her really soon.’

‘I sure hope so, cause every time Autumn and I are together you always look so sad. You’re my best friend and it kills me to see you like that. What is going to happen when Dani finally finds his mate as well. You’ll make him feel as bad as I do now and no, I’m not saying you’re doing it to hurt us.’

‘Um, Seb, Alex? I have found my mate.’

‘What?!’

Both I and Seb said at the same time trying to keep the shock look off our face, so the girls don’t know that we’re talking to each other.

‘Why didn’t you tell us sooner about this Dani boy? So, what’s her name and what pack does she belong too?’

‘Well Alex, I was really not sure that I wanted to even tell you about her cause it’s Jasmine.’

‘What?!’ Again, we both say it together.

‘See that’s why I didn’t want to say anything to either of you.’

I can see why he didn’t want to tell me since his mate is friends with Kimberly, the girl that my father wants me to make my mate. I don’t think I can have her here while I’m trying to get Aurora to realize she was my mate. I don’t need Kimberly to do anything to ruin this for me. I looked over to Aurora and seen how happy she was eating the dessert while talking to the other girls. I can’t help but fall more in love with her the more we spend time together. I need to find a way to be alone with her so I can finally try to explain it to her. I know I can’t wait any longer and with Jasmine being Dani’s mate I know I can’t wait another day. As soon as Jasmine is brought here to be with Dani and that will give Kim an excuse to be here.

‘Rania? Can we please talk?’

‘What’s up big bro?’

‘I need your help. I need you to help me to get me some alone time with Aurora so I can talk to her about being mates.’

There was a long pause as for Raina to think about how she can help me.”

“Hey Aurora, how would you like to go swimming to work off some of this great food?”

“I would love to go swimming too, but I didn’t pack any swimming suits. I guess I really didn’t think about it.”

“Don’t worry because I know there are a few that was put into your room.”

“Great, so let’s get going. Hey Autumn, would you like to come with us?”

“I’m sorry but Autumn and I already have some plans tonight.”

“We do?”

“Yes, we do. Don’t you remember we were going to spend some alone time together?”

‘Sis, what are you doing?’

’Duh Alex, I’ll be taking her to go swimming and you would happen to show up as I’m needing to leave.”

‘How can I just show up when you said it out loud for everyone to here.’

‘Oh yeah, well I’ll figure it out. Wait, after we go swimming, I’ll ask her if she would like to see the garden Grandpa made for his mate. I know she would love to see it. You can get things ready by then.’

‘Yeah, that’s a great idea. I’ll have Seb, Dani, and Autumn to help me set things up.’

‘Alright but remember I’m only doing this for my soon to be sister-in-law.’

‘Well, thanks anyway.’

“Hey Aurora, let’s get going.”

“Kay.”

They both walked out as I went over to the royal chief to get the staff to help us find some of things, we’re going to need to pull this off.

“Alex, we need to talk now.”

“What is it, Dani?”

“Well, it’s about Jasmine of course. I need her here with me Alex. I need to know if it will be alright for her to come here or I’m going to have to leave to be with her. So, please give me your permission to bring her here because I really don’t want to leave this pack or you, my friend.”

“He’s right Alex. You of all people should know how it feels to be away from your mate. I know I wouldn’t want to be away from Autumn even for one day.”

“I feel the same way about you too my love.”

I understand what Dani is feeling and understand what he’s saying. I couldn’t even think about going on without Aurora. There is nothing I wouldn’t do to keep her safe and happy. I’m not sure what I’m going to do about this, it’s not like I have anything against Jasmine besides her being close friends to a girl that I don’t want anything to do with. I know I’m going to have to give into this because there is no way I’m going to let Dani leave the pack or give up being the royal Gamma.

“Alright Dani, in the morning I’ll give a call to Alpha Andrew And Beta Randy to speak to him about Jasmine. I want to make this clear to you Dani that I don’t want Jasmine being here give Kimberly the feeling she has the right to be here.”

“I understand what you’re saying Alex, but I need to be with her. Jasmine is only friends with Kimberly because that’s what their parents want.”

“Alright, I’ll have everything taken care of by tomorrow after noon.”

“Thanks a lot Alex. I’ll get things taken care before she gets here.”

(Aurora POV)

The swimming pool was so big and beautiful. I almost didn’t want to get out of, but Raina insisted that we leave to go see the garden. She told me that the garden was made for her grandma from her grandpa as a wedding gift. We get to my room so I can get into a dress and not sure why, but she insists I wear the dress. I decided to wear a white lace dress, with black flowers, and a black bow. I put my hair up in a half French bread and put a little make up on. I’m not sure why I’m feeling anxious, but I’ll soon find out sadly my wolf decided she wasn’t talking.

“Come on Aurora. We need to get going.”

“Why are you in such a hurry? Is there a reason that you’re not telling me?”

“Come on I just wanted you to have fun so maybe than you will never want to leave.”

“Alright Raina, let’s get going.”

When we got to the garden, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was like one of those picture-perfect Japanese gardens that I always read and looked at the picture wanting to have one of my own.

“Your grandpa made this for his mate?”

“Yes, my grandma always loved Japanese gardens ever since her and her parents spent some time in Japan for a business trip her father had to go on. They were there for a month. So, when my grandpa found out that she was his mate he wanted to do something special for their wedding night.”

“Wow, that’s so romantic. I wish I could find someone as romantic as that.”

“Well, maybe one day you will. Who knows it might be a lot sooner than you think?”

She just gives me a smile like knows something that I have no clue about. We walked for a while with just me taking in the beautiful view. I then got a smell of something, but it was faint but before I could ask Raina about.

“Um, I’m so sorry but I need to go tell Autumn about the ball so we can all go look at some dresses and have them done in time. I need to get to her before she and Seb gets to bed because newlyweds are like rabbits at night. I’m surprise that Autumn isn’t pregnant yet lol.”

She hurried out before I could say anything to her. I be lying if having some alone time to myself isn’t a bad thing, but I should get back to my room and get ready for bed.

‘Wait Aurora, let’s just stay out here a little longer if you don’t mind. I promise you that you won’t regret it.’

’Wow, so now you’re talking to me?”

‘Please just trust me.’

‘Alright, I guess.’

I walked around until I got to a gazebo in the middle of the garden. There was a table set up in it. The table and chairs were wrapped up in a white cloth with a gold bow on the chairs. The table had fancy plates set up for a romantic meal for two. There were rose petals all around the table in a heart shape with some candles on the ground lighting the area up. Wow, someone went out of their way to have such a romantic night for someone special to them. It would be nice if someone could do that for me but yeah right, keep dreaming. I’m getting a feeling I should be getting out of here, so I don’t ruin this moment for someone. I was just about to leave when I see Alex just standing there wearing black pants and a white button up shirt looking so sexy. Oh god, I need to get out of here. He probably had this all done for a girl like Kimberly and I’m going to be in the way. As I tried to get away as fast as I could I felt him grabbing my arm making me stay there and when he grabbed me, I felt the heated sparks that I was always told you’ll get from a mate’s touch. Wait, is Alex my mate?

‘Yes Aurora, Alex and hunter are our mates.’
