emergency?” 

Mikayla told Carl what had just happened. 

“Although it seems to be an accident, I feel uneasy. Could you help me find someone to get the 

surveillance footage of that road? I want to take a closer look at that man’s face.”

Not only did she want to see that man clearly, but she also wanted to get the surveillance footage to Investigate the man’s background. She wanted to see if she could get anything about Kylle’s dirty deeds. 

Carl was astonished when he heard that. “How could this happen to you and Mr. Davidson Senior? Didi you call the police?” 

Mikayla shook her head. “I didn’t have time to do that. I had no idea who they were and worried they’d come back. So I figured it was safest to return to the hotel first.” 

He thought for a while and suggested accompanying her to the police station to file a report. The police. would get the surveillance footage for the investigation. 

She thought it was a good idea. It would be great if the police could find out anything about those two 

men. 

“Sure, let’s do it.” Mikayla nodded. 

Carl accompanied her to the pedestrian zone where the incident had happened. The police also arrived and checked the surveillance footage of that area. 

The first motorcyclist’s face was invisible since he was wearing a helmet. They could only see the second motorcyclist’s blurry profile, which wasn’t visible when zoomed in. 

Mikayla looked around and requested the police to check the surveillance footage of several nearby shops. However, it was either too far away or blocked by something. They couldn’t find a clear and complete frontal photo of the second motorcyclist. 

The police also discovered that those motorcycle license plates were fake. There was currently no 

information available. 

Mikayla was disappointed but also confirmed that it was a premeditated incident. She saved the relevant 

surveillance footage.
