Mikayla’s remark made Taylor burst into laughter, 

The woman shot her an annoyed glare. “Shut up! You’re just a driver! It’s none of your business! Oh, I get it. You must be planning to get close to Mr. Blue as a driver, right? You’re so conniving!” 

Mikayla, feeling helpless, turned to Taylor in the back seat, “How do you attract such a crazy 

woman?” 

“You- 

The woman was so furious that she wanted to argue, but Taylor impatiently ordered Mikayla,” Just raise the window and drive away.” 

Upon hearing that, Mikayla promptly raised the window and stepped on the accelerator. 

The woman almost fell. Then, she shouted from behind, “Mr. Blue, I haven’t paid for the damage yet! At least give me your phone number.. 

Observing 

the persistent pursuit, Mikayla commented, “Mr. Blue, you have so many admirers.” 

Taylor rolled his eyes at her. “Didn’t you also hit my car before? Are you also my admirer?” 

“No, that was an accident.” 

She finally knew why his driver was so adept at capturing photos and handling traffic accidents 

that day. 

It turned out that many people attempted to get close to Taylor in this manner. 

“To be honest, you should consider driving a less conspicuous car in the future. It could save you a lot of trouble. I suppose you’ve spent a fortune on repairing your car!” Mikayla advised. 

“Why should I give up my enjoyment because of what others do?”

his time.

Half an hour later, Mikayla reached the private restaurant Taylor had mentioned. While not luxurious, it was spacious, with a yard filled with flowers, plants, and fruit trees. A pebble pathway 

and a pond teeming with fish adored the middle. 

As night fell, the string lights hanging around illuminated the place, creating a new atmosphere. 

A waiter welcomed Mikayla and Taylor, asking if they had a reservation. She assumed he had already booked a room and only needed to specify the number. 

Unexpectedly, he replied, “No.” 

“Sorry, all the private rooms are booked out today. If you don’t mind, you can sit in the main hall, said the waiter. 

Taylor, who had always been picky, readily agreed. “Okay.” 

The waiter led them to the hall. With its antique–style décor, Mikayla deemed the place unsuitable for business meetings. 

Taylor settled into a wooden chair. “It doesn’t matter. We’re not the ones who will be talking 

anyway.” 

Mikayla was puzzled. “Mr. Blue, I don’t understand your intentions. Didn’t you mention that you’ve 

chosen a new project and want to inspect it? Is this a discreet inspection?” 

Upon hearing that, he smiled. “You could interpret it that way.” 

Mikayla had a feeling that Taylor was up to something dodgy today. Her intuition urged her to 

distance herself from it. 

“Mr. Blue, I’ll leave it to you. I forgot that I’d promised my coach that I’d go to the gym today. 

Please excuse me.”
