Chapter Thirty: Controlling Everything In Us

Three years had flown by, and to say they were hard as f*ck. was the biggest understatement of the f*cking decade. Three years of having our beloved mate but admiring her from afar was hard as f*ck. Seeing her grow into the intelligent person she was, and not to mention the mature young lady she had become just at the age of twelve, was mind baffling. Our Kiara was beautiful, our little pup mate.

It was hard having her around and not being close to her; we had to watch her laugh and be close to the other male wolve from afar, always keeping our distance for her safety. Even though it was harmless, our possessiveness got the best of us and even though we weren’t proud of it, we came up with a way to get rid of the unwanted male attention. During the time our little mate had travelled back to her pack, it was extremely hard to cope. Our wolves would go crazy; the most minor thing would set us off. It came to a point where mom and dad were worried we’d kill someone. It was already hard enough that we had to stay away from her, but the fact that she was under the same roof as us and a floor below our chambers helped; but when she left, it was time for everyone to run miles away from us. Jayden and I chuckled. Just as I was about to say something, my nose smelt my little mate before I saw her, but what I heard and saw when I turned around had me seeing red.

Jayden POV:

“Well, prince Rex, if your done hogging your future mate…”

It was all Kayden, and I heard when we turned around and saw our Kiara in our little brother’s arms, looking at each other like they were each other’s f*cking world. Snarls left both of us at the sight of both of them. He was not her future mate, we were, and even though Rex was our little brother, we didn’t know his intentions. Unintentionally our auras slipped out that had Kiara’s two friends whimper and shake before they bowed their heads. Rex tried to fight the aura but lost as he submitted, baring his neck to us, whereas our little mate threw daggers at us with her eyes. If we weren’t mad, I would’ve laughed at her antics. She was like a kitten glaring at a lion.

“With all due respect, your majesty, we were studying and had just come out to get some fresh air since we needed a break. And as far as Rex was concerned, your reaction was uncalled for. He had just arrived to wish me good luck for tomorrow.” Said our mate.

Even though she was pissed, her tone was respectful. However, her taking Rex’s side and her not rebutting her friends regarding their claims of Rex and her being mates replaying in my head got the best of Kayden and me.

“Kiara, are you here to study or talk back to your kings? Or is that you are here to entrain yourself with our younger brother.” I snarled
