Kiara POV:

“Kiara, sweetheart, come on, it’s getting late. You have to get ready for the coronation.” I heard auntie Meg say again.

After I and JJ had talked and made our pinky promise, we played for a bit in the playground. Rex even came out after a few minutes. But now that the coronation was about to start, Rex and JJ went to Rex’s room to get ready; I wanted to go too, but they were talking about cars and bikes, and I really didn’t wanna get bored. Plus, all my clothes were in my room, and Rex’s room was very far from mine. “Don’t laugh! It could’ve been real! What if someone kidnapped me or ate me.” I said.

“Don’t worry, Kiki. We would never let anyone hurt you or even let you be scared.” Said, prince Kayden

All my anger was gone as I gave them big smiles. I squealed and immediately wrapped both my pinkies around their big

“We promise,” Prince Kayden and Jayden said together.

I giggled as they both got up to their full heights and held a hand each as they ushered me out of the scary hallway towards my

room.

“Be careful where you roam, Kiara. The palace is huge, and some places are restricted like the one you were in. You could’ve gotten in big trouble we hadn’t felt…um, if we hadn’t heard you.” Said, Prince Jayden

“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to go there. I was just thinking about. something, and I lost my way when I realized I was already lost and couldn’t find a way out.” I said, blushing.

I could see my room’s door as we slowly made our way to it; we stood in front of it; the princes let go of my hands, and I turned to them and smiled before I said.

“How to keep JJ here with me,” I said with a smile.

But the moment I did, Prince Kayden and Jayden’s smiles were gone and replaced with those scary faces mommy made when she found out I fed my broccoli to Max’s pet dogs.
