Still Dominic's POV

“What makes you think that she is hiding something in this room?” Carl asked as we headed up the stairs, going up to my room.

“Well, for starters, I've seen her with weapons before, I got shot by her, remember?

Graciela also mentioned something about a phone that she hides with her. I've seen it before, I've seen her checking throug her secret phone, but I've never had time to go through it" I told him truthfully. I was leading the way, taking him up to our room.

“This is wrong man, this is so wrong. You could just ask her about it, I'm sure she would tell you the truth, she has changed since she came here, she isn't the stubborn Bethany that listen to no one, let's just ask her about it Dom, it's way better thar treating her like a common criminal” He advises me, sounding unsure about what we are about to do.

“Don't you f****g back down now, you can't suddenly grow a conscience, not on my watch Carl. Now get your ass up here, I don't f*****g have all day." I told him fiercely, kicking out her luggage from the walk-in closet, pushing it toward him, while I searched the closet for anything she might be hiding.

“Itis locked, it's f*****g locked. Where the hell do we get the f*****g key?" he let out in frustration, causing me to look in his direction as he struggled to pick the lock and open the bag. I stayed towards him, prying the luggage from his grip, ripping it open and scattering its contents all around the floor, emptying the luggage.

“Congratulations, my king. You just found some set of pretty underwear. You know, I never got to see Bethany’s undies while we dated, thanks for showing them to me, my king. They're quite pretty and classy” He said mockingly, earning him an angry growl from me.

“Mock me one more time, Carl, and I swear I'l rip your f*****g head offi Now keep searching this f*****g room." I growled at him. He rolled his eyes at me as he walked into the closet to begin his search. I knelt beside the bag, searching through the things that I scattered on the floor. I had seen her take out that phone from this bag, she even got her gun and knife from this bag too, I'm 0 f*****g sure, I saw her clearly that night. Why are they no longer in this bag, did she move them?

Or maybe she got rid of them. She must have given up on her revenge mission, I guess she finally decided to let go of her grudges and accept me as her mate and her king. She must have thrown it all into the trash, or better yet, she may have completely destroyed them all. This could be the best day of my life, this may be the day that I'll finally claim and bond with my mate. I can't believe that she is finally going to accept me, this is so exciting. I can feel the adrenaline rushing through m body as I got so excited.

I looked up and saw Carl standing over an open box, going through a phone. The box looks like a briefcase but slightly bigge than a briefcase. I guess it had been hidden inside her bag when she arrived. Damn, she's so f*****g smart. She must know that I would search through her bag to search for her weapons, that is why she moved the box out of her luggage, hiding it a a safer location. I guess she had thought that I would only check in her bag, she never thought that I would comb through the whole room to search for what she is hiding. I knew this was too good to be true, how could I have imagined that Bethany would give up on her revenge plans and accept me so easily, what was I even thinking?

I let out a gasp when I walked over to where he stood looking so dumbfounded. The box is filled with weapons, more weapons than I had ever imagined that Bethany would possess. She had more than one gun, I counted three guns and the bullets were too many, I just couldn't count them and they were all laced with Wolfsbane. But that wasn't what caught my eyes. We found three little black boxes. One box contained my special green serum that Marcus had used earlier, the same serum that was hijacked before it could be safely delivered to me. I had suspected foul play when Marcus had attacked her, it's obvious that she knows him before now, she had been working with him all along. How else could she have gotten her hand on this serum, it has to be from them, that is the only plausible explanation here. Would she have f***d that bastard i I hadn't shown up on time, has she screwed him before?

I'm so going to kill her, she is so f*****g dead. She thinks she can make a foul out of me, she must be a joker.

“I need you in my room right now!” I said through our mind link, ordering doctor Fred to come up here because I need his help in identifying the other liquid in the second black box. It's a purple serum that looks exactly like my green serum, well, except for the colour that is way different. The third box contains several rounds of silver bullets that are so rare and hard tc find. Then she has some knives, different shapes, extremely sharp blades. One slight cut from these blades could render me weak and vulnerable for week, it could even kill me unless doctor Fred sucks out the poison before it gets to my heart.

Her secret phone is with Carl and he seems to be deeply engrossed in going through it. I was about to take it from him and see who she has been talking to, but the door pushed open, startling us in our actions. Doctor Fred walked in, wearing a sweatpants and a lab coat to cover his upper body. He is carrying his box that holds his tools and He is looking at us in surprise as he viewed the weapons in front of us, trying so hard to understand what is going on here. He looks a little disheveled, I'm guessing he had run all the way from the hospital down to this place.

“Can you recognize this potion Fred, do you know what it is used for?” I spoke out loud, startling him from his thoughts. He took out one of the tiny bottles that held the purple serum, sniffing the bottle, looking closely at it for an inscription or something.

“Do you mind if I open it, King Dominic?" he asked me.

“I don't mind you opening it to take a look, but you have to be extremely careful, we still don't know what it does." I warner him sternly, taking a step back as he corks open the tiny bottle. Immediately he opened that bottle, the scent floated into m nostrils, taking me aback as I recognized the key ingredient used in making this serum,

“Vampires blood!”

We all chorused in unison. It has to be king Ashford, there is no other insane person that could do something so despicable, He must have captured a vampire, drained him/her of every ounce of blood, using it to achieve his own selfish plans. Could he be waging war with the vampires as well?

There is no telling what a selfish, power-hungry king like him is capable of doing. I think I need to find out if he is waging wa with the vampires, I can make them my ally, I would need them bunny side if I ever want to win this war. first I need to confirm and be sure that the purple potion is from him, if it turns out to be his potion, which I'm sure it would be, I would simply hand this potion to the vampire queen and I know she would take it up from there. She would know whose blood it i by the smell and when she sees the evidence that it was done by king Ashford, she would have no other choice but to work with me in bringing justice to that lunatic.

Doctor Fred took the potion away to conduct more tests and discover what it does to the body. He has a theory that this potion has the ability to make us faster and stronger. While my potion makes the Lycans wake and lifeless, his could make him stronger so he can kill is whenever he gets the chance, how evil

“Hand me that phone!” I ordered Carl in a stern tone.

“Huh?” was his only reply as he got scared all of a sudden, looking at me like a f*****g moron. He has been holding it for some minutes now, I have no idea why he doesn't want to hand it over to me, and now I'm so curious to know what else Bethany has been hiding. I got up and snatched the phone from his hands, scrolling through her messages.

Initially, I was pissed off at her, but right now, I'm mad, I'm so f****g mad!

That f**++g b***h had been talking to king Ashford himself. She had been plotting this mission for a very long time now. Sh was talking to him, even before she found out about this party. I saw all the messages she sent to him, begging him to help her defeat me. He had ignored all of her messages, but she kept texting anyway. She promised to do anything he wants if only he could grant her that one wish. He had only responded to her messages when she told him that she has found a way to get into my Castle. I just don't get it, how could she be so daft end stupid, can't she see that he is only using her to get what he wants?

I decided to ignore their previous messages, I decided to and scroll to their last message so I can know what they are planning. King Ashford is urging her to carry out the mission as soon as possible. He told her that one of his spies would provide more weapons and ammunition for her to use for the mission, he told her that all the things she would be needing for the mission would be provided by his spies. He never mentioned the names of his spies, he never told her how the spies would get to her, but I know that they were here in my castle and they gave her the weapons as he instructed. I can't believe that king Ashfords spies live with me in this Castle, he has his spies right under my nose and I had no f****g idea. I thought my Castle was impenetrable, how on earth was he able to get his spies in here. I'm going to find that spy and ill f****g kill him or her. Ill kill them all.

Does she not know that king Ashford would simply screw her and toss her aside like garbage. After using her to satisfy his desires, he would hand her over to his boys and they would use her as they desire, then he would sell her off to his drug lords as a f***+g w***e.

The new thought of my mate being pawned off as a w***e made me howl in anger as my wolf let out a mighty roar that shoo this entire castle. How could she hate me that much, how could she prefer to be treated like a f*****g w***e than to be with me? Why was I given such a mate, why?

I packed all her weapons in the box, then I lifted it up and carried it along with me, taking it down the stairs with me.

Why are you carrying her bag and where are you going with it?

Dominic please I am begging you, you have to sit down and think this through, you can't think straight, I know that, so pleas calm down and reconsider your decision, please don't hurt her Dom, please.” Carl pleaded as he walked close behind me, keeping a safe distance from me. He kept mute for some minutes, I think he is trying to warn Harriet to take Bethany out of that gym before I arrive. I stopped on my tracks, speaking without turning to look at him,

“I dare you, Carl. I dare you to warn them of my arrival. You don’t want to go down this path with me, trust me” I told him sternly as I stormed forward, heading to my private gym where Harriet was training Bethany to fight. I hope she has gotten
