The phone ringing belonged to Nicola, and her face turned pale when she saw the caller ID.

The caller was her disabled husband, Cillian.

Nicola's hand trembled as she grabbed the phone. "Cillian, what do you want?"

"Nicola, are you fooling around with another man again? Get back here!" Cillian roared.

Nicola took a deep breath, trying hard to keep her voice calm. "Cillian, can I come back later? I have something urgent..."

"Are you trying to cheat on me? Nicola, if you don't get back here right now, I'll have Mr. Burley kill that old

woman."

Nicola's heart skipped a beat when she heard Silas' name. She softly replied, "Okay, I'll come back now."
