Chapter 20

Atlas and I began making YouTube videos together and we had already gained a shit ton of new subscribers. We were getting more and more popular and were uploading a new video every week.

First we started with just doing covers; Atlas would play the guitar and I would sing. After a couple weeks, Atlas had showed me some of his songs that he had started writing and I helped him finish it. We recorded it later that week and uploaded it. So far its our most viewed video and I am amazed at how much the channel has grown in such a small time.

A month and a half after I joined Atlas’s channel, Caleb got us a gig at a local bar. The show went really well and the owner offered to pay us if we came back every Friday. We wouldn’t get paid much, but it was a start. The bar has gotten a lot more customers since then and we actually started getting offers from other places as well.

Tonight was it for us though.

Turns out, a producer was at the bar while we were playing and loved us. He talked to us afterwards and asked us to meet him on Monday to talk about signing a contract with his label.

Luckily, graduation is on Sunday and we don’t need to worry about school anymore. Caleb is going to be our manager like we had originally planned and Matt is going to college to study journalism. Matt broke up with Atlas shortly after our music stuff took off because he hated the attention he was getting. They decided to remain friends and even though things were pretty awkward at first, turns out they are better as friends anyways.

“Elliot, are you listening?,” Caleb asked me with a chuckle, bringing me out of my thoughts.

“Huh? Sorry,” I blushed in embarrassment.

“We were asking if you wanted to hang out or just head home,” Atlas explained and I looked at Caleb.

“I think I want to head home,” I answered and I saw Caleb pout a little.

“Alright, well I’ll see you later then. Are you coming, Caleb?,” Atlas walked to his new (used) car and opened the door to get inside.

“Actually,” I started before Caleb could answer, “Caleb is going to come home with me.” I pulled him closer to me and hugged him tightly with a smile.

“Jeez, I’ll come with you, just don’t strangle me. I can’t fucking breathe, you buffoon,” he pushed on my chest and scowled. I laughed and released him.

“Sorry, Cay,” I kissed his cheek and he blushed.

“Yeah, yeah. Lets just get in the car,” he turned away to hide his blush and got in my car. I chuckled and got in. We waved Atlas goodbye and I began driving.

“Fuck, Elliot you feel so fucking good,” Caleb moaned as he bounced on top of me. I held onto his hips, thrusting up into him and he moaned louder.

Luckily Tommy wasn’t home.

He continued to bounce and I sat up. I pulled him towards me and kissed him passionately. Our tongues danced together and I moaned against his mouth when I felt him clench around me. He came on our chests a moment later and I came inside him.

I cleaned us up and held him against my chest as we cuddled. His head was resting directly over my heart and our legs were tangled together.

“I love you,” I heard him murmur after awhile. I froze for a spit second. We hadn’t said those words to each other yet.

I ran my fingers through his hair and responded, “I love you too, Cay.”

Holy shit, Caleb loves me! I smiled and kissed the top of his head.

“I love you so much,” I pulled him up and kissed him fiercely. I kissed his cheeks, nose, forehead, and everywhere else on his face that I could. Caleb was giggling and trying to push my face away.

“Go away,” he laughed and I wrapped my arms around his waist, hugging him tightly. I nuzzled his neck affectionately and he sighed happily.

“Caleb, before you came into my life, I was pretty miserable. I spent my time dating girl after girl just to pass the time, I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life, and I had convinced myself I was straight because I was scared of losing my family,” I began, “going to that party is the best decision I’ve ever made because those chain of events led me to you. I am so grateful to have you in my life. You’ve always been there for me and I will forever be thankful for that. I know I can be a pain in the ass but -“

“You’re my pain in the ass,” he kissed me, “Never forget that.”

“I love you, Caleb,” I said with a loving smile and kissed him passionately.

“I love you too, Elliot,” he murmured against my lips.

We fell asleep after a couple more rounds and slept peacefully in each others arms.

I dreamt of having a long life with Caleb and all the adventures we would go on.

Monday would bring a new chapter in our lives and I couldn’t wait.
