Eleanor was waiting for an answer from Bernard, waiting for so long that he still didnt respond. In the end, she just chuckled, saying

She stood there in a daze for a while, then like a madwoman, she tilted her head back, looking at the sky, and laughed lightly 

Eleanor, half–crazy, half–awake, felt lost without an answer, and lowered her head. 

Snowflakes were falling all around, landing on her slender shoulders, like withered flowers 

She, who had lost all vitality in an instant, wrapped her arms tightly around herself, slowly knelt down, burying her head in her arms. 

The icy wind penetrated her clothes, chilling her body, but it couldn’t compare to the coldness inside her heart.
