He Still Haunts Me Relentlessly
I sit and wonder about him every day.
Is he doing alright or feeling lost and alone, as I sometimes do?
Is he happy or sad, as I sometimes feel?
Does his heartache for me, as I ache for him?
Am I on his mind, as he is on mine?
Does he miss my gentle touch, as I miss his?
His surging kiss, upon my lips, puts my heart and soul into a whirling spine each and every time he kisses or touches my bare skin.
I go into a tailspin that goes out of control.
Why I miss him so, I do not know, for he is but a memory of the past, that forever haunts my soul.
Even though he lives many miles away, he still haunts me relentlessly.
