Xavier frowned as he quickly bandaged Milly’s injured hand.

If he had stayed by Stephanie’s side, she never would have taken a fall. But just a moment ago, Stephanie seemed okay. 

What caused such a quick shift? 

Oh yeah, Stephanie had mentioned coughing up blood before. She must be dealing with some internal. injuries.

Milly tried to speak further, but a metallic taste rose in her throat, trickling from the comer of her mouth. She struggled to wipe it away, only to see her hands stained with blood and everything in front of her slowly blurring
