Chapter No 37 Rogue Attack

“Our Eden?” asked Zyair.

“You are kidding, aren’t you?” asked Kylian and Ryan yawned.

“Yeah, he had a force shit,” said Hazel.

“Are you kidding me? I mean he never had a forced shift, never” said Kai.

“I don’t know, but if it was not for Hazel, he would have killed Rudy for sure,” said Carmen.

“That would mean war,” said Kylian.

“How do you do that Hazel?” asked Kai.

“Do what?” she asked.

“You calmed his wolf,” said Ryan.

“What about that?” she asked.

“When a wolf has force shift, he becomes dangerous, his human was completely blocked, only his wolf and wolves are wild without their humans, and unmated wolves cause disaster,” Kai explained.

“I don’t know, Clair took over me and it’s all that she has done,” said Hazel.

They all exchanged looks.

“Do you think the same as I am thinking?” asked Ryan through-mind link.

The camp was over and today everyone was going back to their homes. Patricia was standing next to the bus; she gave Hazel a nasty look. Carmen holds her hand and smiles at Hazel.

“No matter what, you are my real cousin,” she said in a whisper. Hazel smiled in return and climbed up on the bus. The whole bus was full; Carmen sat with Leah while Hazel was looking for a place to sit. Only one place was left where a tall green-eyed guy was sitting.

By his looks, she had a strange déjà vu as if she had seen him somewhere. She walked slowly towards the seat and sat with him.

He looked at her expressionlessly and later he started looking out of the window. Then a girl who had green eyes and the same features as him came towards the position where they were sitting.

“Caleb, I thought we would sit together,” she said without any expression.

“This girl,” Hazel thought. Hazel had seen her in school for the first time and she tried to talk to her but she was too rude. Carmen had told her she is a river-stone. She felt her breath stopping.

“Eden is going to kill me,” she thought.

“Only if she..” while pointing at her Caleb left his sentence incomplete.

“I am sorry, I should not,” she said and got up.

She looked around; Carmen was not in the seat where she sat before. Now Bella was sitting there. Unknown to her someone was staring at her with much interest, two green eyes.

She got off the bus in a rush, and while getting down, her head collided with someone’s hard shoulder, she looked up, it was Eden.

Their intimate moment was in her mind and her heart was racing too fast. He looked into her eyes.

“Hazel,” she heard her name from his back. She moved her head to look, it was Carmen.

“The boys had their bikes, so we are going through bikes, I came here to take you, Leah, Bella, and Tyna,” she said excitedly.

“How about Ryan, Zyair, Kylian, and Kai?” she asked without looking at Eden, who was looking at her.

“Oh Kai is going through the bus as he said he found bikes a little rogue as for Ryan he got his fling with him and both Zyair and Kylian wanted to go school, they had some business there,” she said.

“Fine,” said Hazel shortly while looking inside Eden’s eyes. A smirk appeared on his face.

“Okay Char, Leah, Tyna, and Bella are going with their mates and now only you and Hazel are left, let’s decide with whom you want to ride,” asked Fred.

Carmen gave him a dead stare and he smiled.

“I am not Char,” she said, annoyed.

“Well, Eden or me?” he asked. She looked around.

“Fine, I am coming with you,” she said, exhausted.

They both rode on the bike and left. Hazel and Eden left. They were not speaking. He turned towards his bike, climbed on it, and started racing the bike. She took a deep breath and sat behind him. She was hesitant to touch him as it gives her butterflies.

“You want to fall?” he asked in a deep voice. She never sat on the bike before. She looked at Carmen when she climbed up on the bike. Carmen was holding Fred by his waist.

“Why on the earth have I agreed?” she thought and her heart was beating fast. His coco leaf smell was so intoxicating. She was feeling his warm body against her body.

The wind was blowing around her head. She was feeling every inch of him. His dark hair was touching her face. She was feeling a bit scared, but she was feeling so safe with him.

He was feeling her soft body against his back. She was holding his waist a bit tighter. It was almost sunset. He stops the bike.

She got down and she was looking at him with confusion, he was taking a deep breath, he got down from the bike and then he grabbed her head from the back and their lips met passionately.

He was kissing her deeply and then he lifts her and puts her on his bike where she was sitting before. Her hands were moving over his back inside his leather jacket.

He was breathing fast and his body was taking action against her. The sun was setting down. They were so lost in each other. She never had felt this attraction before. She wanted him and then she felt a strange pain and heat at the same moment. She grabbed his back even tighter. He stopped kissing her and looked into her eyes. Her eyes were in tears due to pain and heat. He slowly messes his lips with hers. She kissed him unconditionally. He smirked at her while taking a heavy breath.

“Eden, Where are you? We are under attack we need you at the pack” he received a mind-link from his mother. He was looking inside her eyes now, his expression changed in a minute.

“We have to go now,” he said in a rush and climbed up on the bike.

She was so much confused that she was not able to ask him what has happened. He was driving rashly. They were in North-pole territory now but they were not going towards their house. From the bike mirror, she could see his expression. He looked poker face. He stopped the bike in front of the penthouse. It was the same place where they stayed the other day.

“Get down,” he said with a deep voice. The weavers were there too.

“The girls are inside, we brought them here since you mind-linked us,” said Ethan.

“What is it? What’s going on?” she asked.

“Hazel, go inside and don’t go anywhere,” he said possessively.

“No, I know something is wrong, tell me what it is?” she asked obstinately.

“Packhouse is under attack,” said Carmen who walked out of the tent house.

“What? we should be there” she said and walked towards the bike when he grabbed her arm.

“No, you are staying here,” he said with a deep voice while looking into her eyes. There was something in his eyes that made her legs go numb. He was not the Eden she kissed minutes ago, this Eden was too much possessive. He slowly let go of her hand and turned towards his bike.

“North-pole is my home, I don’t want any of my family to get hurt,” she said aloud. He turned towards her.

“And I don’t want you to get hurt,” he said aloud there was anger in his voice that made her quiet.

The boys were looking at them as if they are watching some movie.

“You are staying, do you get that?” he said angrily.

Carmen walked towards her and put her hand on her shoulder. He turned and climbed on the bike without looking at her because he knows there were tears in her eyes and he hates to see that.

The boys also climbed up on their bikes and left after him. A tear fell from her eye. Carmen hugged her slowly.

“He did this only to keep you safe Hazel,” she said softly. Bella and Tyna also came outside.

“Yeah our mates, even they did not let us go,” said Bella angrily.

“I wanted to fight; I wanted to protect my family, I wanted to protect him,” last sentence she said under her breath.

It has been three hours there was no news from the North-pole pack. Zyair, Kai, Ryan, and Kylian were also not responding. They were in Fred’s territory. Hazel was walking into the room impatiently.

“Relax Hazel, everything would be all right,” said Leah.

“Why they are not responding,” she said annoyed.

“They must be in the fight,” said Bella.

“Are not you worried about your mates?” she asked them.

“Not because we know weavers are too much clever, they would be back at any cost,” said Tyna.

Carmen was sitting near the window, she looked worried.

Leah walked towards the position where she was sitting and slightly hugged her.

“Relax, everything will be fine,” she said softly.

“It’s Eden’s birthday tomorrow and look today his pack is under attack, this birthday sickness,” said Tyna. It was almost midnight.

She was too much worried for Eden, she could not tell this anyone what she was feeling because she has to give a lot of answers to her friend.

“Someone has a crush on the big bad wolf,” said Clair mischievously.

“Clair, have you tried to talk to his wolf?” she asked.

“Seems like the boy had blocked us,” said Clair. She took a deep breath.

“Please be safe” She sent him a mind link in the hope that he would hear her. After a few seconds, she receives his mind link.

“I am fine, Hazel,” she heard his deep voice inside her mind. She felt an unknown internal relief after hearing his voice.

“I am coming to get you and Carmen,” he said again. She took a deep breath.

“He is fine,” she said to her friends.

They all took a deep breath.

“Do you know who attacked them?” she asked.

“Rogues,” said Carmen without any expressions.

“Why? We don’t prejudge them, we let them inside our pack,” she said shocked.

“Because they want to destroy our pack like they did to Riverstone,” she said angrily. For the first time, Hazel was seeing her much angry. The door knocked, the girls exchanged looks and Leah went ahead to open it. The boys were at the door. They went towards their mates and hugged them. Eden was with them too. Carmen ran towards him and hugged him.

“Everyone is okay?” she asked him feared.

“Yeah everything is under control,” he said while looking at Hazel who was looking at him.

“I am sorry” he mind-linked her.

“For what?” she asked.

“For being harsh over you,” he said.

He brought both girls to the pack house. The packed house was in complete chaos. The dead wolves were taken away by the pack members. Julius and Grace were ordering. Carmen ran towards Wanda and hugged her.

“Thank God Mum you are fine, why did you do that? Why you asked Eden to not bring me here why mum?” she asked angrily.

“Honey, I did this for your safety,” she said smiling.

Hazel walked towards the place where Wanda and Grace were standing.

“Who were they?” she asked.

“They were Rogues, Hazel, Eden I want to have words with you,” said Julius. They both nodded.

“Where are Uncle Alex and Mateo?” she asked.

“Mateo went to Ethan’s pack with Alex,” said Grace. Julius walked towards his office followed by Grace and Wanda. They both exchanged looks and walked behind them.

“What is it Dad?” he asked him when he came inside the office. “I think they know what Hazel is,” he said while looking at Hazel.

“Honey this is not good,” said Grace worried.

“Last time, when they came to know about Althea’s they attacked our pack, and this time they did this again,” said Wanda.

“But I have not shifted, how could they know something like that?” she asked.

“I am afraid I don’t know,” said Grace.

“What’s the plane Dad?” asked Eden, there were tense expressions on his face.

“We have heard the news from the other pack that they have been attacked by Rogues,” Julius said while looking at Grace.“

Did you hear any words from the wolf council?” he asked.“

Yeah and….” Said Grace but she stopped

.“But what Mum?” he asked, tense.

“There are rumors that say there is a pack emerging during these months most powerful even from the white wolf race pack River-stone,” said Julius.
