They were packing since morning; Hazel was so excited about the camp because it was the first time she was going on camping.

“Let’s pack those snacks as well,” said Kai.

“Kai what mom has told us about those snacks?” said Carmen.

He rolled his eyes.

“Where is Ryan?” asked Hazel.

“He went towards Anna’s, his new fling, he will join us at the station,” said Kai.

“I am so excited,” Hazel said while zipping her bag.

“You never have been on one?” asked Kai. Her expression changed suddenly.

“I never had a normal family, when I was in foster care, they were so abusive towards me, I was just a money bank to them or a maid,” she said, sadly.

Kai put his hand on her shoulder. “You won’t have to go through that again, I promise you,” he said softly and she smiled in return.

“Any news about my dad?” she asked.

“No, Dad said everything is ‘so normal’ in River-stone, like a zombie island,” he shrugged and two beautiful eyes came into his mind.

She turned towards her bag while both siblings gave her sad looks.

They were standing at the bus stop, they were going through the bus, and the station was crowded because a lot of students from the school were going.

Eden and his group arrived in their usual dominant style, she looked at Eden, their eyes met for a while, and then he looked ahead.

It took them 3 hours to reach the spot and they reached around the mountains; they set their camps and settled the tents. She was staying in the tent with Carmen, while Ryan and Zyair were staying together and Kai and Kylain were staying together.

“It’s so much fun,” said Hazel. They were sitting near the campfire.

“I knew it, you are going to like this,” said Carmen.

“Where are the boys?” asked Hazel.

“They went towards the woods,” said Carmen.

“Fishy business?” asked Leah who sits next to them.

“Your mate is there as well,” said Carmen.

“Let’s make it girl’s night,” said a tall blond girl, who had hazel eyes, she was standing next to a campfire with a medium height dark curly-haired girl who had brown eyes. Leah got up and ran towards them, “Tyna, you are back, and what a pleasant surprise I mean you guys have not told me you are back here and will join us here?” she said while hugging them both.

“Yeah, we are back, you know rogues had attacked our pack, and being an elder daughter and upcoming Alpha, I had to go,” she said exhausted.

“Bella, how is your father now?” she asked the girl who had curly dark hair.

“He is fine now, I have to fight in the chaos instead of him, my brother has found his mate and decided to leave for the other pack, so they declared me upcoming beta,” she said while looking at Hazel, their eyes met and then she looked away.

“Who is this new friend of yours?’” asked Tyna happily.

“Oh yeah, I have almost forgotten, let me introduce you,” said Leah, they walked to the place where Carmen and Hazel were sitting.

“Hazel, these are our friends and group mates Bella and Tyna,” said Carmen.

“And this is Hazel, she is from Carmen’s pack,” said Leah.

“Hi, nice to meet you,” said Hazel softly.

“Bella and Tyna are from the same pack, Bella is Beta’s daughter and Tyna is the upcoming Alpha,” said Leah.

“So what you guys were doing?” asked Tyna.

“Nothing just talking,” said Leah. “So why don’t we make it special,” said Tyna.

“How?” asked Carmen.

“Let’s play something,” said Bella.

“Like what?” asked Carmen, exhausted.

“Why do you sound exhausted?” asked Leah.

“Because last time when I played with those too, you went with Judi that night, they dared me to eat shampoo as a ketchup,” said Carmen.

“Yuck, that sucks,” said Leah.

“You won 10 dollars didn’t you?” asked Bella.

The three girls laughed. Hazel was looking at the bunch of girls who were coming in their direction.

“Well, Well, Well, look, a bunch of idiots are here, together,” said Patricia. They all looked up with nasty expressions.

“Which one is sitting or standing?” asked Bella while looking into Patricia’s eyes.

“How dare you?” she raised her hand but Tyna had caught it in the middle.

“Don’t you dare Patricia,” she said with anger in her eyes. She was looking like a dominant Alpha.

“And who are you to protect her?” asked Patricia.

“An Alpha, who is protecting her beta,” said Tyna, angrily.

“Well, fine,” she said while throwing her hand. She walked towards Hazel and looked into her eyes. Hazel unintentionally checked her wig, because she knew Patricia was from Riverstone.

“Well, the new bitch is here as well,” she said nastily. Hazel felt a jolt of anger in her veins, she hated every river-stone despite she was one, but it reminds her of her mother and how they kicked her out.

“Who is she, an omega of your pack?” she said while looking at Carmen.

“None of your business Patricia,” she said angrily.

“Well from her looks, she looks like a weak, pathetic Omega, her parents might be weak omegas,” Patricia said while crossing her arms around her chest. “Well I have another theory,” she said, smiling. “Are not your pack accepting rogue? She might be the daughter of a pathetic rogue,” she added and the trio laughed.

“Don’t lose control, Hazel,” Carmen looked at Hazel and mind-linked her.

“That’s enough Patricia, you are crossing the limits with my friend,” said Leah.

“Your friend? Are you not the Omega of your mate’s pack? Such a pity a guy like him got someone like you,” Patricia said while looking at Leah, who turned red due to anger.

“How could you say something like that Patricia? Moon Goddess makes a mate bond. How could you make such intolerant comments?” said Carmen angrily.

“Well, I did not say anything wrong about rogues; didn’t your pack have told you why our packs are not working together? A pathetic rogue who ran after killing our pack member, caused Havoc, and destroyed our relationship, I heard nobody knows where she went and your Alpha got killed during that chaos,” said Patricia, smiling evilly.

“Hazel no,” said Carmen through the mind-link but Hazel has lost it. She punched Patricia over her face causing her to fall.

“How dare you?” said Mindy, her minion, and walked ahead to punch Hazel but she was blocked by Bella.

“Don’t you dare to touch her” she said while tossing her arm.

Elena and Kim helped Patricia get up. She got up, and her lower lip was injured.

“How dare you hit me? You don’t know who on the earth I am, I am the princess of the River-stone pack and daughter of Alpha Tyler,” she screamed.

Hazel felt thousands of barrels fall under her ears. She was unable to hear anything else. She was looking at Patricia in shock who was looking at her like she did some disgusting thing.

Carmen was looking at her horribly and anger rushed into her veins and she lost control over herself. She ran towards Patricia and punched her even more. She was punching her and Carmen and the girls were trying to pull her towards them.

“I will kill you,” she was screaming, while Patricia was trying to fight back, she was also trained.

In the end, Patricia was pulled away by her friends and Carmen was trying to calm her down.

He was smoking while standing next to the campfire, the weavers were there and Zyair, Kai, Ryan, and Kylain were playing some game.

“It is fun isn’t it?” asked Judi.

“Yeah fun for you, you have turned 18, found your mate, and look at us,” said Fred.

“Yeah, we forced them to be here or else they were going with their mates,” said Kylain while rolling his eyes.

“We will ask you when you will find your mate,” said Ethan.

Eden was standing next to a tree leaning on it. He was smoking and was in deep thought. Two purple eyes came into his mind and then they turned blue. He smiled a bit.

“Guys, where are you? You got to come here there is trouble,” they all received mind links.

“Girls are calling,” said Ethan. Eden looked at his cousins who had the same expressions; they got up and walked out of the woods in a rush.

They reached down. They saw girls sitting around Hazel and she was crying. Eden felt someone had taken his heart in their hand. He ran towards them.

“What happened?” he asked furiously.

“You guys knew it didn’t you?” asked Hazel while looking up into his eyes, her eyes were turning red due to tears, he felt his heart was drowning, he felt she was asking him only.

“What has happened here?” asked Ethan. Bella ran towards him. He put his hand over her waist possessively.

“Patricia was here, she fought with Hazel and said something about her parents, after that, she had gone out of control,” said Bella while looking into Ethan’s eyes. He looked at Hazel with a sad expression.

“Hazel,” Eden bent down over his knees in front of her and looked inside her eyes, she was crying.

“You want to walk for a while?” he asked. She looked into his eyes and unknowingly she felt calm. He stretched open his hand in front of her and she held it. He got up still holding her hand and helped her get her up.

“I will try to talk to her,” he mind-linked the others and there were still tears in her eyes.

“She found out didn’t she?” asked Ryan. Carmen nodded.

“I have told you to tell her before she came to know,” he said angrily.

“Tell her what? That her father has a daughter? Or that she has a step-sister and a mother too,” she said angrily.

Kai was looking so sad.

“I promised her, I will never let her feel sad,” he said in a whisper.

Ryan understood his condition due to their twin bond. He walked towards the place he was standing and hugged him.

“It’s okay brother, we won’t let anything happen to her, she is our cousin, our family” he whispered in his ear. Kai took a deep breath.

He was walking beside her towards the woods. She was quietly staring at the trees while walking. He took a deep breath. “You want to talk?” he asked softly. She looked at him and for a moment, she got stuck inside his deep blue eyes.

“You knew it?” she asked with tears in her eyes as she trusted him and he broke it. He nodded yes and she looked ahead.

“There was a reason for not telling you,” he said in a deep voice.

“I didn’t want you to get hurt Hazel” She never liked her name this much as she is loving it now. She looked at him.

“Have you met my father?” she asked. He nods yes.

“How is he?” she asked.

“Just like you,” he whispered. “Like me?” she repeats.

“Yeah, his eyes, his face, his hair, you are all him,” he said.

“Will you help me to meet him?” she asked, there was hope in her eyes.

“Listen, Hazel,” he said while holding her arms in his strong hands. It was the first time she felt his touch. Her heart started racing fast.

“We don’t want you to get hurt, I don’t want you to get hurt, I won’t let anything happen to you Hazel no matter what,” he said in a deep voice while looking into her eyes.

“Forget what Patricia said, going there only will hurt you Hazel and I won’t let that happen, I will not let you hurt ever, ever,” he said, slightly hugging her. She has never felt this safe before.

“Now promise me you will never do anything stupid like you did today,” he asked and she nods in yes.

He smiled while looking into her eyes.

This girl was something to him.
