Chapter No 32 Nightmare came true

“What are your plans for the evening?” Carmen asked while adjusting her jacket. She was holding her phone in her stand in front of her face in order to go live on Instagram.

“At least you can turn this off while we are going home,” said Hazel while rolling her eyes.

“You know I can’t,” she shrugged.

“Where are the others?” She asked.

“Ryan went with his new fling, Zyair, and Kylian have a project together so they have to go to the library for research, and Kai is doing his thing,” she said while adjusting her earphones.

“Don’t tell me he is still following Xia home?” She asked, mortified.

“No way, he is not, he can’t. I mean Daddy will be too much pissed off if he does something like this,” said Carmen with an expression like she was imagining Jacob is scolding Kai.

Just then the Weavers appeared, they all were walking assertively. It was difficult to guess who was the most handsome, they all were so perfect.

“Seems like there is another fight,” said Carmen. Fred looked at Hazel and smiled at her with his usual expression. He had dimples when he smiled. She smiled a bit in return. Then she heard Eden’s mind link, “Go home you both,” and she was startled.

He was looking at her and he had seen her smiling at Fred.

“Huh, he always gives orders,” said Carmen, annoyed. She put her bag on her shoulder and placed the phone inside her pocket and started walking exhausted.

She was lying on the bed. There was not much to do. Eden was still not home, and the training schedule was now once a week instead of three times. She was staring at the roof of her room when someone knocked on the door. She got up to open it. It was Carmen.

“As I promised I have brought something for you,” said Carmen. She was holding a photo Album. “Whoa you, you are great,” she said while hugging her. She took the Album and led her toward the bed. They opened it, and the photos appeared, there was a baby, who had deep blue eyes and angry expressions. “Who is he?” She asked.

“Guess,” said Carmen. She looked closely. The child has a lot of features like her.

“Dad”, she whispered in a very low voice and touched the photo with her fingers.

“He was a very cute child,” said Carmen. She turned the page and went to another. It was a family Photo, a boy six to seven was standing in the middle with the same serious expression. The boy of his age had fawn hair and blue eyes, similar features to Kai and Ryan. There were two women and two men standing behind them.

“That’s Uncle Jacob, am I right?” She said excitedly like a child, Carmen nodded yes.

“Who are they?” She asked.

“They are our Grandparents, that’s yours while they are mine,” she said while pointing at Regina and James, and Peter and Elena.

“You look a lot like your grandma,” She said. Carmen smiled.

“Our Grandparents don’t know our existence,” said Carmen sadly.

They turned the page again, and there were all the family pictures. The Album ends.

“My Mum she was not in it,” she said sadly.

“Don’t worry, There must be some way to find out about your mum,” said Carmen while hugging her softly.

“We have found the way,” said Kylian. He came running inside the room followed by Zyair, who was holding a laptop.

They both were smiling like they had won some tickets.

“What is it, guys?” Carmen asked.

“You know we had a project together, we have to go through the history of royal and commoner school students from the packs,” said Zyair.

“Oh, that would be a mess then,” said Hazel.

“Well, Listen up,” said Kylian.

“So we have to go through all the social media and guess what we have found?” he said while Zyair puts the laptop on the bed.

He played a video on YouTube. It was a very beautiful song. A blond girl who had purple eyes was appearing on the screen.

“Did you see that her eyes are purple?” said Carmen, shocked. “And the voice is so beautiful,” she added.

“Wait, if her eyes are purple which means she is Canis Lupus,” she said excitedly while looking at Hazel who was not paying attention she was looking at the laptop screen.

“Mom,” she whispered. Carmen was shocked. The boys were smiling. She looked at them.

“It’s Althea, we finally found her, and she sings so beautifully,” said Kylian.

“She was beautiful,” said Zyair.

“So do you, Hazel, you have to be strong for your mum,” said Kylian. A tear fell from her eyes.

That whole day she has been so down. She was not feeling good; she never has felt this much sadness in her entire life. They all have seen her sad and tried everything they could to make her feel better.

“What happened to her, why is she upset?” asked Mateo.

“Carmen has shown her Jacob’s Family Album,” said Wanda.

“She reminds me of her mom, her nature is totally like Althea’s,” said Mateo.

“I miss her Mateo, I wish she was here. I wish she would have known how incomplete it is without her,” said Wanda sadly.

“How is Jacob doing? After all, she was his best friend” he asked sadly.

“Broken, he said he promised to protect her till the end but he failed,” she said with tears in her eyes.

“I know he is your mate and his sadness is making you low,” said Mateo while hugging.

“Brother, I am so tired,” she whispered. “I know my sister,” he said.

She was lying on her bed tears running down her cheeks when her door was knocked on.

“Hazel, It’s me opening the door. I got the news” said Carmen from outside the room.

She slowly got up and opened the door.

“What happened ?” Hazel asked Carmen who was smiling excitedly.

“Our school is taking students camping,” she said happily.

“What?” asked Hazel, shocked.

“Yeah! It is the day after tomorrow so we don’t have clothes and we have to go shopping” said Carmen while walking panicky around the room.

“But shopping….”

“Now” Hazel was about to say something when Carmen abrupt.

“We are going now,” said Carmen.

“Now but…”

“No, but, come on, you have 10 minutes to get ready and come down. I am waiting,” she said while raising her finger. She turned and stormed out of the room.

Althea was staring at the empty room. She smiled and turned toward her cupboard.

She came down after a while Carmen was already ready. Guys were also coming along. Everyone was there except Eden. She never saw him since the evening when they came home and he mind-linked them.

“We are going for our girlish products, you guys can go shopping. We will meet here after an hour again, ″ said Carmen.

“Okay, take care let’s go guys,” said Ryan, and the four left.

“I have never been Camping, what things do I need?” asked Hazel.

“Don’t worry, I will sort it all out” she said and they went inside the sports shop. This was a huge shop.

“I said this looks ridiculous” they heard a scream. It turned out to be a short blond-haired girl. She recognized her. She was the same girl who had snatched her bench in the morning.

“Bitch,” muttered Carmen. “Do you know her?” asked Hazel.

“Yeah, I do know this bitch, she is the queen bee, I was telling you about,” said Carmen, annoyed.

“She is in my standard,” said Hazel.

“Yeah I know that’s why I told you, you will know,” she said while rolling her eyes.

“I am afraid I don’t like her,” said Hazel.

“Me neither,” said Carmen in a mysterious way.

They were turning to a mannequin when they heard Carmen’s name. She turned with one hand on her hip.

“What is it Patricia?” she asked while looking inside her eyes.

“Good evening, well what on the earth are you doing here?” she asked in sarcasm.

“Well, it’s not a good evening any longer Patricia and by the way, it’s a clothes store, so I am not here to drink coffee or to kill people, ″ she said definitely.

“Well I am not here to talk to you, not at all, trust me, I was wondering if Eden is coming……” she said with lustful eyes like she is seeing Eden nude.

“Well, why don’t you ask him personally…. Opps, I remember he won’t give a shit,” Carmen said while raising her hands.

“You….” She was about to say something when she abrupt.

“Enough talking…..I am going to another shop it’s too crowded” she said and turned to leave, Hazel followed her.

“Poor Hazel she already has gone through a lot,” said Ryan.

“Hey why are you three so quiet?” asked Hazel.

“Some sports clothes and shoes,” she replied.

“Is Eden going?” asked Kylian.

“Depends if his squad is coming,” said Kylian.

“I wonder how much fun we will have,” said Carmen excitedly.

“Excuse me, I have to go to the washroom,” said Hazel. She got up and went towards the bathroom. They were sitting inside the café.

She was also excited about the camp; it would be her first camping trip. She entered the washroom. After a while, she came out and found a woman staring at her.

A woman who happens to be her worst nightmare; she felt her legs go numb and her screams buried inside her vocal cord.

He was sitting with his squad and smoking. “Bro, it would be a relaxing two days for camping,” said Ethan.

“Is Bella coming?” asked Judi mischievously. “Yeah she would,” he said shortly.

“Queen bee is also going,” said Noah while looking at Eden mischievously.

He did not respond. “She is so irritating, I mean she comes wherever she sees Eden, I am fed up, she is River-stone, a proud spoiled Kai,” said Ethan.

Ethan was smoking without paying attention, then he felt a strange feeling, a very strange kind of painful feeling. He got up and mind-linked everyone if they are okay, he never felt something like this before.

“Eden, Hazel is missing” he received a mind-link from Kai.

Kai was drinking smoothies; Carmen was on her usual social media. Kylian and Zyair were talking about some boring topic while Ryan was on the phone. It has been 20 minutes since Hazel has gone.

“Hey why didn’t she come back?” asked Ryan worried. “Carmen go check upon her,” said Kylian but Carmen had not listened.

“Carmen?” said Kai loudly. “What? What happened?” she asked, startled.

“Come on girl, come out of your digital world, Hazel has not returned, go check up on her,” said Kai. “What? She has not returned? Let me check” She got up and went inside the girl’s washroom.

After five minutes she came out worried and tense. “What is it?” asked Kai, worried. “She, she is not in there,” she said afraid.

“What? How can it be” said Ryan furious.

“It’s not good, we have to find her, we, we have to do something,” said Carmen, who was about to have a panic attack.

Ryan went ahead to mollify her. “Kylian, Zyair, Take her home, we will look for Hazel,” said Kai.
